    Former Mötley Crüe vocalist and current The Dead Daisies frontman John Corabi is set to release his first full-length solo album, New Day, on April 24, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl. Along with the announcement, Corabi has unveiled an official visualizer for the album’s second single, “When I Was Young”, offering another early glimpse into the project.

    Discussing the new track, Corabi explained its emotional core and personal perspective, saying:
    “‘When I Was Young’ is a lyrically poignant song about an aging man looking back and reminiscing in a conversation with his son, about the ups and downs of his life. A beautiful look at life blended with acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, with an uptempo ‘Maggie May’ vibe!!!”

    The album rollout began last month with the release of the title track, “New Day”, which arrived alongside an official music video. That song set the tone for the record, leaning into reflection while maintaining an optimistic edge.

    Built around a sense of nostalgia, “New Day” moves between stripped-down acoustic passages and fuller rock arrangements. The song draws from classic rock traditions while weaving in touches of soul and blues, with melodic influences reminiscent of early Boston and Queen.

    Sharing his thoughts on the lead single, Corabi said: “‘New Day’ is a positive, upbeat song with a message of enjoy life!!! Stop whining and complaining about how unfair life is, and enjoy the ‘little beautiful things, life offers’ and make the changes you need to make your life better!!! Change happens WITHIN…”

    New Day represents Corabi’s first complete solo album of original material. The record was tracked in Nashville during the summer of 2025 and produced by multi-platinum songwriter and producer Marti Frederiksen, known for his work with Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and Buckcherry. Sonically, the album blends classic ’70s rock with soul and blues influences, resulting in a sound that feels both familiar and personal.

    The tracklist also includes previously released songs “Così Bella (So Beautiful)” from 2021 and “Your Own Worst Enemy” from 2022, now placed within the broader context of the album. Across the record, Corabi is joined by a strong supporting cast, including Marti Frederiksen on backing vocals, guitars, piano, and percussion; Evan Frederiksen contributing drums, bass, B3 organ, electric guitar, mandolin, and programming; Richard Fortus of Guns N’ Roses on lead guitar; Paul Taylor of Winger and Steve Perry on piano, organ, and clavinet; and Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke delivering guitar solos. Together, the musicians create a natural, performance-driven feel centered on melody and groove.

    In support of the album, Corabi has a European tour scheduled for February and March 2026, with additional dates planned through late spring and summer. The shows are expected to highlight both the new material and the emotional connection behind it.

    Legendary vocalist and 2024 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Lou Gramm, widely recognized as the iconic voice of Foreigner, has revealed “Young Love”, the first single from his upcoming solo album Released. The track delivers a straight-ahead rock sound rooted in classic AOR, pairing Gramm’s unmistakable vocal power with driving guitars and an emotional edge that reflects the rush of early romance.

    The full album, Released, is scheduled to arrive on March 27, 2026, with CD editions issued through HNE Recordings and Cherry Red Records, and vinyl versions released via Friday Music. The record features ten original songs co-written by Gramm and his former Black Sheep bandmate Bruce Turgon. While the material draws heavily from the era that helped define Gramm’s career, the album also carries a strong sense of reflection and closure. A promotional tour is planned for later this summer, with full headlining dates expected to be announced soon.

    Speaking about the project, Gramm explained the origins of the material and why it was important to finally share it. He commented: “My new album Released is a collection of unreleased songs that were recorded in the 1980s during the production of my three previous solo albums. These are powerful, heartfelt songs with a great vintage sound taken right from my old multitrack tapes. This new album was a long time coming and it’s a real nostalgia trip. When I pulled these songs out of the vault, I knew I had to finish them for my fans around the world, so they can experience what I did when I first heard them after all these years. It means a lot to me to finally see this album released, to be taken back in time when I hear this music again, to remember working with all these great musicians, and to feel that my catalog is now complete.”

    Produced by Lou Gramm himself, Released features contributions from a notable lineup of musicians. Tony Franklin appears on bass for “Long Gone”, while Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard delivers guitar work on the opening track “Young Love”. Longtime collaborators are also part of the project, including Ben Gramm, Lou’s brother, on drums. The finished album balances a timeless rock feel with a personal, reflective tone that connects directly to the period when Gramm became one of rock’s most recognizable voices.

  • Band Fallout Turns Political: REFLECTIONS Loses Two Members Amid ICE Dispute

    Minnesota metalcore group Reflections are now operating with a reduced lineup following the departures of two longtime members, with tensions reportedly tied to differing views on ICE, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. The situation appears to have escalated as debates around immigration enforcement and ongoing unrest in Minneapolis became impossible to ignore within the band.

    The internal divide became public on Monday, January 26, when bassist Francis Xayana and guitarist Patty Somoulay announced their exits and directly criticized vocalist Jake Wolf over what they described as his support of ICE. Their statements quickly drew attention online, placing the band in the middle of a highly charged political conversation.

    Somoulay first hinted at the conflict in a message shared through his Instagram account, explaining his decision to step away from the band. He wrote: “I am no longer a part of Reflections. A lot of stuff happening in life lately where it just does not feel okay to continue on with this myself. Also f**k ICE. This isn’t the country my family wanted to risk their lives to come to.”

    Xayana followed with a more detailed explanation via his Instagram Stories, directly addressing his issues with Wolf and the band’s internal dynamics. He shared: “Jake has always had control of the band. There’s a reason Patty left even though he is the primary writer. Jake is an ICE apologist and I will not fuck with someone like that. I don’t give a flying fuck what we’ve been through. I cannot trust a person who thinks this is necessary. And honestly fuck you if you support this ICE shit. You’re a fucking bitch. And instead of getting into your fucking feelings y’all should have been listening to Black voices this entire time. Now when a white person is killed in the same form they’ve experienced for centuries, we are at end game. There is no going back. This is the beginning of the end if people continue to turn a blind eye. He’s going to kill anyone who opposes him”.

    As of press time, Wolf had not issued a public response, and Reflections had not addressed the departures through their official social media channels. The band’s most recent Instagram post highlights plans to perform at the 2026 Euroblast progressive music festival in late September, with no additional tour dates currently listed until the fall.

    Both Xayana and Somoulay had been part of Reflections since the band’s formation in 2010, making their exits particularly notable. Over the years, the group released five studio albums, most recently 2022’s The Fantasy Effect Redux.

    Jake Wolf has yet to comment publicly on the situation, leaving the future direction of Reflections uncertain as the band moves forward without two of its founding-era members.

  • BLACK VEIL BRIDES Announces 2026 Tour With FROM ASHES TO NEW, TX2 And AS DECEMBER FALLS

    Black Veil Brides have announced a new headlining tour across the United States and Canada, with From Ashes To New, Tx2, and As December Falls set to join them on the road.

    The 24-date run is scheduled to begin April 25 in Riverside, California, before making its way across North America and closing out on May 30 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Along the route, Black Veil Brides will also appear at major festivals, including Sonic Temple and Welcome To Rockville.

    Tickets for the tour go on sale January 30 at 10 a.m. local time, with a number of pre-sale options available ahead of the general on-sale. Additional ticketing details can be found through the official Black Veil Brides website, where the full list of tour dates is also posted.

    The tour will support a new studio album that has been confirmed but not yet formally announced.     British grindcore mainstays Napalm Death have announced an extensive North American tour scheduled for this coming spring. The run will see the band bringing their long-standing intensity across the continent, with Deadguy and Primitive Man appearing as special guests on select dates.

    The tour is set to launch on May 7 in Daytona Beach, Florida, where Napalm Death will perform as part of the Welcome To Rockville festival. From there, the band will continue moving through cities across North America before wrapping things up on June 14 in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a final stop at The Pearl.

    Metal stalwarts Nervosa have confirmed the release of a new studio album, Slave Machine, arriving April 3, 2026 via Napalm Records.     Scottish metal heavyweights, Bleed From Within, are proud to reveal their live Audiotree Session. The band filmed the one take performance during their 2025 North America tour supporting Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium, featuring songs from their latest album Zenith and more. Audiotree are renowned for showcasing talented musicians from around the world. Their channel has become a cornerstone, capturing intimate studio performances from diverse artists.

    Bleed From Within stated: “We’ve had our eyes on Audiotree for quite some time. We saw this as an opportunity to showcase our material in a new light, without the usual production that we have with us in a live environment. In an age of over produced records & bands editing live footage, it felt refreshing to walk into a room and just play our instruments knowing that this was our one take and only chance to dial it in. There were no run throughs or drop ins. Play it loud, then come see it in the flesh in April/May on our first ever headline tour of North America!”

    After 20 years, Bleed from Within have reached their Zenith. The Glasgow firebrands are one of the hardest working acts in metal: playing shows globally with everyone from Megadeth to Slipknot, all while writing and regularly releasing monstrous, exhilarating songs. The upward journey reaches new heights on their seventh album, which contains the band’s heaviest, catchiest and most intrepid music to date.

    Bleed – vocalist Scott Kennedy, guitarists Craig “Goonzi” Gowans and Steven Jones, drummer Ali Richardson and bassist Davie Provan – have long been Scottish metal’s most valued sons, constantly at the vanguard of muscular-sounding music. First albums Humanity (2009) and Empire (2010) made them cult figureheads in the deathcore scene, before Uprising (2013) broadened their palate with groove metal adrenaline and melodic death metal prowess.
