I have never heard of ADÉLA, but her new single “KGB,” her first new music of 2026 and a glimpse of her forthcoming debut album, features some heavy hitter producer credits — 100 Gecs’ Dylan Brady, Blake Slatkin, the Dare. It’s provocative and catchy. The verses remind me of Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” pre-chorus, and…
2026 has turned out to be an exciting year for the Berlin/Helsinki format HOLOSOIL, who today release their debut EP Look Up on InsideOutMusic. The dynamic quartet has already generated a lot of buzz with their previous singles, showcasing their signature balance of alternative and prog while delivering a message about freedom and rebellion. To celebrate, HOLOSOIL will host a release party on April 23rd, 2026, at Urban Spree in Berlin.
Look Up is an ode to experimental songwriting – raw, technical, and catchy, with a desire to be heard and seen as something that has not been done before. The band humbly sets their footprint on the trail of progressive music, offering an atypical project to 21st century metal-heads and old-school rockers alike.

The Pretty Reckless have shared another piece of their upcoming album ‘DEAR GOD’, and it finds Taylor Momsen in deeply emotional form.
It’s called ‘Love Me’ and is a slow-burning piece of gruff rock and roll, bolstered by a vulnerable, volatile vocal display. An unfurling of feelings that only show themselves when you are staring the very bottom in the face, it takes a lot to put them on paper, and even more to choose to relive them every time you hear them in song from now until forever.
But it’s clear just how purposeful this new record has been for Taylor in exorcising a variety of things she didn’t want to face head-on, and with that in mind, her calls for adoration become even more heartwrenching and honest.
A really heavy listen, and not in the way you expect.
She had this to say about where the song came from, stating, “‘Love Me’ came from a place I didn’t want to admit I was in. There’s this moment in your life where you’re so hollowed out that you start bargaining with God, not even for happiness, just for proof that someone sees you. That’s what this song is. It’s not pretty. It’s not wrapped up. It’s just a raw, ugly need and I think that’s exactly why people connect with it.”
‘DEAR GOD’ is set for release on June 26 via Fearless Records. It will also feature the raw and raucous ‘When I Wake Up’, which sounds like this:
