Effusion 35 Eviction Review
Effusion 35 entertains us with “Eviction”, an album blending underground atmosphere and dark emotional intensity. ‘Eviction’ is a Raw and Unfiltered Experience.

In a world where polished sounds often dominate the airwaves, Effusion 35’s album, “Eviction,” bursts forth like a refreshing storm. From the moment the first track, “Shitbag,” thunders to life, listeners are enveloped in a wave of gritty reality. The sound is unrelenting, transporting you to the gritty basement parties where the scent of spilled beer and sweat mingles in the air. This album is an unapologetic testament to raw, energetic music that leaves behind pretenses and embraces authenticity.
“Shitbag” demonstrates Effusion 35’s signature style, which thrives on a direct, powerful approach. The visceral intensity resonates immediately. The unforgettable riff leads seamlessly into “King Of The Pack.” This track begins with a guitar loop reminiscent of playful banter, only to erupt into a sonic avalanche. The distorted guitars echo the essence of the Ramones, albeit amplified. The sound of Effusion 35 feels robust and hefty, brimming with adrenaline-fueled energy that keeps listeners engaged.
Sound and Atmosphere
As the album unfolds, “Migraines” introduces a fascinating twist. This track slows the tempo just a touch, creating a psychedelic atmosphere that still feels urgent. The blend of slow-burning intensity and engaging melodies keeps the audience on their toes. “All I Need Is You” follows, showcasing a contagious groove that invites listeners to move. It draws parallels to the sounds of Rage Against the Machine but maintains an underground psychedelic vibe that feels distinctly Effusion 35.
“Maverick” kicks off with a riveting guitar riff that momentarily halts, capturing the listener’s attention. It recalls the iconic style of AC/DC while maintaining a uniquely underground edge. It’s this authenticity that distinguishes Effusion 35 from other bands. There’s a refreshing absence of artificiality in their sound. Every note and rhythm feels instinctual, emerging from a raw and heartfelt place, which is quite rare in today’s music scene.
Track after track, “Pennies” returns to that roaring guitar, inviting the band to fold back into its epic sound. This track resonates to create an intense listening experience where every note counts. The eclectic fusion of rock, hard rock, grunge, and punk remains at the forefront of Effusion 35’s style. The band masterfully intertwines these genres, creating an alluring blend that captivates its audience. This cohesive sound is precisely why Effusion 35 is a gem in the current indie music landscape.
Performance and Production
Effusion 35’s “Eviction” strikes a perfect balance between chaos and harmony. The album feels like a personal journey through sound, showcasing the band’s evolution while confidently standing its ground. Each song is a testament to the band’s ability to explore various musical landscapes while remaining true to their roots. This genuine nature shines through in their music, encouraging listeners to engage with every lyric and riff.
For anyone looking for an exhilarating auditory experience, Effusion 35 must be on your radar. “Eviction” is a compelling exploration of gritty, unfiltered sound. It captures the essence of a world that often feels oversaturated with rehearsed and polished noise. This is a band willing to dig deep and offer you a taste of something real. They’ve crafted an album that will resonate with anyone who values authenticity in music.
Direct and Intense!

ONEWAY Breakdown Review
ONEWAY Breakdown Review
“Breakdown” is a single blending cinematic atmosphere and dark emotional intensity. A Deep Dive into ONEWAY’s new single.

As the needle drops, listeners are enveloped by a haunting soundscape in ONEWAY’s latest single, “Breakdown.” The opening captures attention with atmospheric notes that linger and resonate. Each note feels intentional, crafting an ambiance that is inviting and foreboding. This musical introduction invites the audience into a world where emotions run deep, and intensity is palpable.
Following this captivating intro, a melodic riff bursts forth, reminiscent of Rage Against the Machine, yet distinctly darker. The contrast is striking—where Rage is raw, ONEWAY leans towards the melodic metal realm. This shift in sound not only invigorates but also elevates the song’s overall energy. From dark and intense passages to uplifting melodies, “Breakdown” defies expectations and pushes boundaries.
Sound and Atmosphere
Once the vocal delivery enters, the journey escalates further. ONEWAY employs a deep, resonant voice that anchors the composition. The singer’s tone is rich and powerful, adding weight to the already thick atmosphere of the song. There’s a palpable urgency in the vocals that enhances the message of the track. The complexity of the voice, coupled with profound lyrical content, translates an emotional depth that resonates with listeners.
However, ONEWAY surprises yet again just past the two-minute mark. A harmonious female voice joins the mix, adding a unique layer to the song. This unexpected shift creates a striking contrast. Her ethereal tones flutter above the powerful male vocals, generating a beautifully intricate interplay. The dynamic between these two voices enriches the song, transforming it into a captivating exchange.
As the piece transitions into hard rock territory, listeners are taken on a sweeping journey. The fusion of male and female vocals creates melodic layers that soar and drive the song forward. It’s a cathartic build-up, exposing vulnerabilities and hidden strengths. With this step up in intensity, the track evolves into a full-bodied experience, intertwining elements of rock and melody seamlessly.
Performance and Production
“Breakdown” stands out for its vision and uniqueness. It isn’t just a song; it’s a statement of hope and resilience. ONEWAY crafts a narrative that encourages perseverance even during life’s most challenging moments. The emotive lyrics and rich soundscape serve as a source of inspiration, intoxicating the listener and evoking a sense of shared experience. It becomes a lifeline, reminding us that beauty often emerges through struggle.
The artful blend of various genres makes this single highly versatile. Fans can meditate on it or immerse themselves in its story. There’s something for everyone here, and its message stretches across demographics and musical tastes. “Breakdown” is an experience meant to be shared.
Intense.

she’s green Announce New EP Swallowtail: Hear “Paper Thin”
she’s green, from Minneapolis, have a gauzy, dreamy sound that they call “moss music.” I think that’s cool. More bands should invent their own fake genres. If she’s green hadn’t done that, we’d just be calling them a shoegaze band, and that description would be reductive and a little inaccurate. They’re definitely in the shoegaze zone, but there’s some Cocteau Twins and maybe a little Helium in there, too.

ERIK GRÖNWALL, Ex-SKID ROW Singer, Drops “Born To Break” Video From Upcoming Solo Album “Bad Bones”
Former Skid Row frontman Erik Grönwall has released the official music video for his new solo single, “Born To Break”. The track is taken from his upcoming album Bad Bones, which is set to arrive on May 22.
Known for his strong vocal range and commanding presence on stage, Erik Grönwall built his reputation with Skid Row and H.e.a.t., and also spent time on the road in Europe and Japan performing with guitar icon Michael Schenker. With Bad Bones, he shifts focus to his own material and perspective.
The album is made up entirely of original songs and centers on a more personal direction, with an emphasis on direct songwriting and individual expression.
