Just a couple weeks remain until Lamb Of God‘s tenth studio album Into Oblivion is released to the masses. With the few singles we’ve already gotten amping excitement for the album’s release up to 11, it’s understandable if fans are chomping at the bit to hear the whole thing. Which would explain why the band announced that they’ll be hosting nationwide listening parties running from March 13 to March 15.
Over the course of two days, more than 140 record stores around the country will host events related to the launch of Into Oblivion. Exclusive merch will be available at each listening party location, along with chances for attendees to get their hands on some free shit, prizes, and an indie-exclusive vinyl variant of the record.

TAKEN FROM THE LAUDED LATEST ALBUM MAGIC 8-BALL
Norwegian proggers Gazpacho are back today with a superb new video for their single ‘Sky King’, taken from their latest and widely celebrated album Magic 8-Ball.
The song was inspired by Richard Russell, a ground service agent with no formal flight training who stole an aircraft and flew alone for over an hour. His conversations with air traffic control were broadcast live, and revealed a man speaking with unusual calm, humor, and clarity as the situation unfolded.
“This song is a tribute to human dignity and the refusal to conform to anyone or anything. It is dedicated to the ‘Sky King’ Richard Russell who performed the ultimate rejection of that mindset and reminds us that we still have wings. Fly high!”
