Bo Lueders’ Ashes Taken to Wrestlemania, Various Superstars Pay Their Respects
Over the weekend, the biggest show in sports entertainment — Wrestlemania — took place in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year. It was a “showcase of the immortals,” with the weekend featuring crazy matches, insanely talented wrestlers, and all the bombast you’d expect for the 42nd iteration of the show.
And while it was a fun (albeit expensive) event for all in attendance, it also served as a reminder of the loss we as a community recently suffered, as the ashes of the late Harm’s Way guitarist and HardLore co-host Bo Lueders got to experience the big stage with surviving co-host/Twitching Tongues vocalist Colin Young and Bo Lueders’ partner Taylor Nicole. His remains were kept in an urn the entire time, obviously, but it made the rounds to some famous figures in the wrestling business before it was through.
We know all this because it was plastered on social media, as Lueders’ remains were visited by WWE wrestlers CM Punk and Danhausen, as well as AEW bruiser and God’s Hate vocalist Brody King. As you can see in the post shared below, Young, Nicole, and Lueders got some decent seats to the event, courtesy of Punk (Phil Brooks).
And speaking of CM Punk, who was at Lueders’ funeral alongside Danhausen (Donovan Andrew Danhausen) and King (Nathan Troy Blauvelt), he went a little above and beyond in his tribute to Lueders. As one of the men involved in this year’s final main event, he had a major entrance for his match. Rather than too much craziness, he showed up in a white sports jacket with some names embroidered on it. While some WWE production crew that passed away recently were placed on his right arm, Lueders’ name was located right on his chest for the whole world to see. As he made his way to the ring, announcer Michael Cole referenced the tribute, naming Lueders and his band Harm’s Way by name.
It was a moment that I’m sure Lueders’ friends, fans, and loved ones didn’t miss. It’s also one major tribute, as millions not only heard Bo’s name for the first time, but likely went to Google to find out why this wrestler thought Lueders was so important to prominently feature him on their gear.
Bo Lueders passed away on April 1 after he died of suicide. In the days and weeks that have followed, countless tributes have poured in, as folks recognize Lueders’ contribution to the heavy music and hardcore scenes.
We at MetalSucks continue to give our deepest condolences to Lueders’ loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. If you, or someone you know is depressed, dealing with suicidal thoughts, and/or exhibiting evidence of self-harm, please call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.

Death Lens Team Up With Militarie Gun’s Ian Shelton For Powerful Single ‘Waiting To Know’
Death Lens have joined forces with Militarie Gun‘s Ian Shelton for a powerful, hook-laden track that tackles the fear of the unknown.

Photo credit: Joél Verges Titled ‘Waiting To Know’, the track is set to feature on Death Lens’ upcoming album ‘What’s Left Now?’, set to arrive on April 24 via Epitaph.
Speaking on the single, the band’s Brian Torres has shared:
“Waiting to Know sits somewhere between growing older and not knowing if you ever really do… It’s fear and acceptance sharing the same skin, looping the same question until it stops sounding like a question at all. What’s next? My biggest fear: the unknown. It’s about spending your whole life waiting to know, waiting to go, like the answer is always just out of reach but already written somewhere you can’t read yet.”
Death Lens will be making their way across the Atlantic for a run of UK and European shows this summer.

Monday Morning Video – Ted Hawkins
Ted Hawkins had a story as singular as his voice — you can read about it here. What the words can’t quite capture is what happens when he opens his mouth to sing. This clip, from an Irish television program in 1988, is a welcome reminder of his graceful talent. His voice and music endure. -
Carcharodon Unleash “Putrid Future” Music Video; Track Confirmed for Upcoming Bloodwater TTRPG Soundtrack – @thebeast
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Carcharodon Unleash “Putrid Future” Music Video; Track Confirmed for Upcoming Bloodwater TTRPG Soundtrack
Liguria, Italy – Italian sludge death crushers Carcharodon have unleashed the official music video for their latest single “Putrid Future,” delivering a raw and punishing audiovisual experience that embodies the band’s long-standing devotion to pure riff-driven extremity.
Check out the promo video here:
Flying the banner of “Pure Riff Worship since 2003,” Carcharodon continue to carve out their niche with a filthy blend of turbosludge weight and old-school death metal aggression. Fans of Entombed, Bolt Thrower, and Obituary will feel right at home in the band’s dense wall of distortion and groove-laden brutality.
While “Putrid Future” stands on its own as a standalone single and video release, the track will also be featured as part of the upcoming Bloodwater tabletop role-playing game soundtrack. In addition, Carcharodon are contributing further material to the project, strengthening their presence within the game’s bleak and violent universe.
Published by Swimming with Sharks Entertainment and Zombie Shark Games, Bloodwater is the brainchild of Noah “Shark” Robertson (Motograter, The Browning, Jeffrey Nothing). The game plunges players into a savage oceanic nightmare filled with cursed treasure, monstrous threats, and the looming terror of the Sharklord, Kharkass.
“Carcharodon’s sound feels like it crawled straight out of the depths of Bloodwater,” says Robertson. “It’s dark, crushing, primal, and exactly the kind of energy this world demands.”
With multiple tracks set to appear on the soundtrack, Carcharodon help anchor the sonic identity of Bloodwater, which draws inspiration from cult favorites like Mörk Borg and Pirate Borg, blending fast, brutal gameplay with a grim and immersive setting.

Boggio – guitar, backing vocals
Nuzzi – drums, keyboards
Production Credits
“Putrid Future” was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Andrea Cipriani (Cerealiciros) at Il Pozzo Studios, capturing the band’s crushing, no-frills intensity.
About Bloodwater
Bloodwater is an upcoming tabletop RPG set in a doomed aquatic realm of sharks, corruption, and survival. With a rules-light system and a heavy emphasis on atmosphere, it throws players into a brutal world where danger lurks beneath every wave.
More details on the game, soundtrack, and additional collaborations will be revealed soon.
Brace yourself. The water isn’t safe. And neither are the riffs.
