Life Undying – Flowers in Concrete (Single Premiere)
Bands: Life Undying Release: Mourn Genre: Post-Metal, Blackgaze Country: Austria (Graz) Release Date: 28th of August, 2026 Released via Self-Released Single Artwork: Simon Kuro Recording, Mix & Master: Luke Iggy Life Undying, the solo project of Graz-based musician Luke Iggy, releases its fourth single “Flowers In Concrete” on July 3. The song imagines nature reclaiming what humanity tookfrom it, and the music follows that idea closely: layered guitars that buildtension, vocals thatmove fromfury to restraint, and a refrain that keeps returning like something growing backno matter how often it’s cut down.
At its heart the song is about reclamation. What was stolen doesn’t stay gone. It crawls back, and grows on its own terms, somewhere between vengeance and renewal. That same feeling shapes the single’s music video, an intimate one-shot piece built around a single concept and filmed in one unbroken take, letting the song’s quiet defiance play out in real time.
“Flowers In Concrete” comes with a full presscampaign behind it, and one more single will follow before Life Undying’s debut album Mourn arrives on August 28, 2026. Rooted inpost-metal and blackgaze, with Deafheaven,Harakiri For The Sky, and Agalloch somewherein its DNA, Mourn sits under the banner the project has carried from the start:
Post-Metal against Climate Change. “Flowers In Concrete” will be out July 3 on all major platforms.
