KÜNTSQUÄD Continue Their Reign of Chaos as Satans Cock Keeps Turning Heads Across the Global Metal Underground
Melbourne, Australia : Some albums disappear after release. Others leave a crater.
Australian extreme metal wrecking crew KÜNTSQUÄD continue to build momentum behind their latest full-length, Satans Cock , as the band’s uncompromising blend of death metal, blackened chaos, crust punk, and doom-soaked brutality continues to attract listeners and media attention around the world.
Released through Wormholedeath Records Worldwide , Satans Cock has established itself as one of Australia’s most talked-about underground metal releases. Fueled by crushing riffs, relentless aggression, grotesque satire, and an unapologetic disregard for convention, the album has earned praise from metal publications, radio shows, podcasts, and fans across Europe, North America, Japan, and Australia.
The record climbed to the #1 position on The Heavy Magazine’s Australian charts for two consecutive weeks while drawing attention for its controversial visual presentations, with multiple music videos facing censorship and bans from mainstream platforms due to their graphic and confrontational content.
Rather than backing down, KÜNTSQUÄD have embraced the controversy.
Fronted by guitarist and vocalist Paula VC Damnzal , the Melbourne quartet continues to push extreme metal into uncomfortable territory, blending savage musicianship with dark humor, social commentary, and imagery designed to provoke reactions. Their sound draws influence from death metal, black metal, crust, and doom while refusing to be confined by genre expectations.
Since forming in 2017, KÜNTSQUÄD have built a loyal following through relentless touring across Australia’s east coast and a growing international presence. The band’s uncompromising approach has earned them coverage from respected publications including Decibel , Rock Hard , Legacy , Metalized , Metallurg , and numerous independent media outlets throughout the global metal community.
Their inclusion on Imperative Music Compilation Volume 18 , alongside legendary acts including Deicide and God Dethroned , further cemented the band’s place among today’s rising forces in extreme metal.
Recorded and mastered at Goatsound Studios by Jason Fuller and Jamie Colic, Satans Cock captures everything KÜNTSQUÄD represent: crushing down-tuned riffs, devastating blast beats, filthy grooves, and an atmosphere that balances brutality with bizarre, unfiltered creativity. Combined with the unmistakable artwork of RokArt from Sadistik Exekution , the album stands as a complete artistic statement that refuses to compromise.
With international attention continuing to grow, KÜNTSQUÄD remain focused on expanding their reach, bringing their chaotic live performance to new audiences, and continuing to challenge expectations of what extreme metal can be.
For fans of early Carcass, Last Days of Humanity, Sadistik Exekution, Autopsy, Discharge, and anyone who prefers their metal filthy, fearless, and completely unhinged.

BINARY ORDER ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE “VESTIGE” FROM UPCOMING CYBERPUNK ALBUM THE SAME DREAM
London Industrial Electronic Project Continues Its Descent Into Digital Dystopia With New Cinematic Transmission
Available August 6, 2026
Listen Here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/binaryorder/vestige-2?ref=release
London, UK – July 30, 2026 – The future grows colder. Memories distort. Identity begins to fracture. London-based electronic project Binary Order continues the unfolding story of their upcoming cyberpunk concept album The Same Dream with the release of their haunting new single “Vestige,” arriving August 6, 2026.
Following the previously released transmissions “False Memories” and “Wake,” “Vestige” dives deeper into the album’s themes of digital isolation, artificial existence, and the fading line between human consciousness and machine reality.
Created by solo artist Benjamin Blank, Binary Order exists at the intersection of industrial electronics, dark ambient soundscapes, IDM experimentation, and cinematic cyberpunk atmosphere. Drawing influence from artists such as HEALTH, Nine Inch Nails, Lorn, Celldweller, Combichrist, and Perturbator, Binary Order crafts soundscapes that feel like fragments recovered from a collapsing digital civilization.
“Vestige” continues the narrative journey of The Same Dream , combining massive synth textures, mechanical rhythms, atmospheric tension, and emotionally charged melodies into another chapter of the album’s evolving story.
The accompanying music video for “Vestige” expands the visual world of Binary Order, creating a cinematic representation of the track’s themes of memory, loss, and the remnants of humanity existing inside an increasingly synthetic reality.
Entirely self-produced, mixed, and mastered by Benjamin Blank, Binary Order represents complete creative control and a commitment to building an immersive world where music, storytelling, and technology collide.
With The Same Dream , Binary Order explores a future where memories can be manipulated, identities can be rewritten, and the search for humanity continues through the endless noise of the machine.
Binary Order’s new single “Vestige” arrives August 6, 2026.

It’s likely that Threatin, the band fronted by Jered Threatin, will go down in history for all the wrong reasons. Back in 2018, a chaotic UK tour made headlines after no one showed up to his shows. It transpired that Threatin had faked a significant online presence to encourage promoters to book his band, and the venues, quite naturally, weren’t happy.
His band members quit, there was legal activity and plenty of mud-slinging, but instead of apologising, Jered turned the situation on its head by insisting the whole thing had been an elaborate set-up – and that the ‘joke’ was actually on us.
“What is Fake News?” he tweeted. “I turned an empty room into an international headline. If you are reading this, you are part of the illusion.”
A year after the cancellations, Threatin returned to London to play a poorly attended and somewhat shambolic show at the Underworld, then ceased activity until the release of Die Youngin early 2025. The single and its rather grim video documented Threatin’s experience undergoing emergency open-heart surgery following a series of heart attacks.
Now, it appears that Jered Threatin is on the mend, with a new single, The Shadow Box, out now. The instrumentation has something of the flavour of Ennio Morricone’s The Ecstasy of Gold, so perhaps it’s no surprise that the video appears to show Jered lying dead inside some kind of desert burial box before riding to safety atop a goods train.
The Shadow Box was mastered at Abbey Road in London, and comes from Threatin’s upcoming second album, the appropriately titled The Meaning of It All. No release date has been confirmed.

One of progressive rock’s most daring and influential albums, In a Glass House by Gentle Giant returns in a powerful new form, newly remixed and remastered by Grammy Award-winning producer Eber Pinheiro alongside the band’s own Derek Shulman. An ideal is usually sold as an aspiration: polished, desirable, harmless. Repeat it often enough, and it becomes a measurement of success; attach it to a nation, and it begins to sound like political doctrine. Who is seen, who is erased, and who gets classified as beautiful, useful, obedient, or disposable? PIG takes that glossy marketing phrase and feeds it through distortion, machine vision, and command.
Out July 31st via Metropolis Records, “An American Ideal of Beauty” is the latest single from UK industrial glam maverick Raymond Watts, aka PIG. Co-written with old friend Marc Heal of Cubanate and C-Tec, who contributes co-vocals and synthesizers, the track also features Günter Schulz (ex-KMFDM) sharing guitar duties with Watts and his regular songwriting partner Jim Davies (ex-The Prodigy and Pitchshifter).
“An American Ideal of Beauty” delivers classic industrial rock at full weight. Thick guitars grind against a regimented beat as synths jab through the arrangement and metal vocal growls force the lower register into something almost animal. Watts rises above the mass with his familiar theatrical vocal swagger, stretching syllables into decadent declarations before snapping back into clipped commands. Heal’s co-vocal adds another rough-edged authority, while Schulz and Davies keep the guitars dense, physical, and sharply defined.
Watts explains:
“I wanted to distill and hone the sound of the current PIG album, ‘Hurt People Hurt’, so inviting my old partners in swine Marc and Günter to join Jim and myself in the studio seemed the perfect blend of brutality and beauty to feed, fertilise and transmogrify the hog into Hogzilla. This new single was the first result of our work as a quartet, hammered in the heat of the anvil of hurt.”
Directed by E Gabriel Edvy for Blackswitch Labs, the accompanying video makes looking itself feel coercive. Eyes and faces are boxed, duplicated, enlarged, and tagged with computer-vision graphics, as though every human feature were being measured by an automated judge. Watts performs within a narrow brick passage and against near-total blackness, his figure ruptured by washes of red, white, and electric blue.
Words such as CHAOS, LIES, SHOOT, DUTY, BEAUTY, JESUS, INSURRECTION, and SHUT UP strike the screen as orders, accusations, and advertising copy. Human faces in harsh negative share space with horses, insects, forest growth, fire, floodwater, television static, isolated roads, and a sterile server corridor. The rapid editing expands the title beyond cosmetic standards, placing glamour, violence, faith, technology, and civic obedience inside the same system of classification. Beauty becomes another category assigned by the machine, with the viewer positioned as both observer and object of observation.
Watch the video for An American Ideal of Beauty below:
The recording sessions produced three additional songs, all of which join “An American Ideal of Beauty” on the forthcoming eight-track EP, Dirt Box. Its four originals are paired with remixes by Cyanotic, Stabbing Westward’s Chris Hall, Combichrist, and Rabbit Junk.
Dirt Box arrives September 4th, 2026, through Metropolis Records and is available to pre-order through Bandcamp. “An American Ideal of Beauty” can be streamed here.
The EP follows PIG’s current album, Hurt People Hurt, released May 22nd through Metropolis. Largely written by Watts and Davies, the record further develops PIG’s union of industrial force, dance-floor discipline, theatrical excess, and Watts’ barbed gallows humour.
Watts has spent more than four decades working throughout industrial and alternative music. Alongside his extensive catalogue as PIG, he was a founding member of KMFDM and played a central writing and vocal role in the band’s work during the ’80s and ’90s. His collaborations have included Einstürzende Neubauten, Foetus, Psychic TV, Schwein, and Schaft, while his music for fashion has accompanied Alexander McQueen’s Plato’s Atlantis and the exhibitions Punk: Chaos to Couture and Savage Beauty.
PIG will take Hurt People Hurt across North America beginning August 26th, with Cyanotic joining the tour. The itinerary includes appearances at Cold Waves XIV in Los Angeles, Austin, and Chicago, followed by four UK shows in December.
