TITAN BLOOD Unleashes New Single “Unite Them” Ahead of Upcoming Album When the Tide Subsides
Traditional, Power & Progressive Metal Project Releases First Single From Third Full-Length Album
September 11, 2026 — TITAN BLOOD , the metal project led by songwriter, keyboardist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tony Rowe , has officially unleashed the new single “Unite Them.” The track serves as the opening song and first single from the upcoming third TITAN BLOOD album, When the Tide Subsides , arriving September 14, 2026 .
Blending the epic traditions of classic heavy metal with the melodic power of power metal and the ambition of progressive metal, TITAN BLOOD creates music for listeners who appreciate soaring melodies, powerful vocals, driving riffs, and stories that reach beyond the standard metal formula.
Fans of Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, and Sabaton will find plenty to sink their teeth into.
“Unite Them” features Craig Cairns on vocals , Simon Christie on guitars , and Aleks Dolgy on bass , alongside Tony Rowe’s keyboards, programming, songwriting, and production. The track marks Simon Christie’s debut performance with TITAN BLOOD , while welcoming back Cairns and Dolgy, who previously appeared on the project’s 2023 album, The Call of the Wild .


“The first single and album opener ‘Unite Them’ is as fierce as it is familiar, with return performances from Craig Cairns (vocals) and Aleks Dolgy (bass), and a debut performance with TITAN BLOOD from Simon Christie (guitars). The album reflects on stories that have had some influence in my life, from fantasy novels to retelling of lived experiences.”


When the Tide Subsides continues Tony Rowe’s ongoing journey of writing and producing metal on his own terms. Rather than functioning as a traditional band with a fixed lineup, TITAN BLOOD has evolved into an international collaborative project, bringing together musicians from different corners of the globe to bring Rowe’s compositions to life.

That philosophy has been at the heart of the project since its beginning. A self-taught keyboardist, Rowe originally focused on writing his own material for the simple satisfaction of creating music. After struggling to establish a local band due to differences in musical tastes and direction, he turned to the internet to find musicians who shared his vision.
That search eventually connected him with vocalist Nicholas Allaire of ANTIOCH in Canada and guitarist Steven Miller in the United States, resulting in the recording of TITAN BLOOD’s self-titled debut album in 2020. Bassist Klaus Müller of Germany later joined the collaboration, contributing bass, mixing, and mastering to the record.
The project’s sophomore album, The Call of the Wild , followed in 2023 and featured Craig Cairns on vocals, Aleks Dolgy on bass, returning guitarist Steven Miller, and Rowe taking over mixing and mastering duties himself.
Over the following years, Rowe continued writing material despite changes within the collaborative lineup. When Steven Miller’s involvement subsided, leaving a guitar-shaped hole in the project, Rowe continued moving forward. In 2025, guitarist Simon Christie joined TITAN BLOOD to contribute guitar performances to When the Tide Subsides .
The result is the third TITAN BLOOD release, a collection inspired by fantasy literature, society, culture, and personal experiences.
With “Unite Them” now available , TITAN BLOOD opens the next chapter with a track that combines classic metal spirit with a modern independent approach to songwriting and production.

Album Review: Nytt Land – Ritual of Stone Sun (Live 2026)

Live albums can often feel like little more than souvenirs for the faithful. Ritual of Stone Sunavoids that trap. Recorded during Nytt Land’s spring equinox performance in Moscow, this nine-track set brings together material from across the duo’s career and presents it as a performance with its own identity.

The real strength of the performance lies in the vocals. Captivating and hypnotic, they carry a soothing quality that becomes one of the album’s defining features. There’s an incredible control to the delivery, allowing the vocals to remain compelling without ever feeling overstated.

“The Fires of Ragnarok” is a particular highlight. There’s a sense of scale and impending destruction to the performance, but Nytt Land resist the temptation to turn it into something bombastic. Instead, the track builds through voice, percussion and repetition, giving it a weight that feels earned.

“U-Gra” takes things in another direction, leaning further into the ritualistic side of Nytt Land’s sound. The track has a hypnotic quality that makes the six-minute runtime feel completely justified, while the vocal work gives it an almost trance-like pull.

Then comes “Sotvorenie”, a shorter but no less effective piece that provides a welcome shift in pace. At just over three minutes, it doesn’t overstay its welcome, and its placement after “U-Gra” works particularly well, giving the set some breathing room before it moves onwards.

That sequencing is one of the album’s strengths. Ritual of Stone Sun doesn’t simply throw a collection of songs together and call it a live record. The nine tracks move through different aspects of Nytt Land’s musical identity, connecting their earlier Nordic-inspired material with their more recent exploration of Siberian ritual traditions.

But for those willing to give it time, the rewards are considerable. The combination of throat singing, percussion, traditional instrumentation and those captivating vocals gives the performance a character that is difficult to replicate outside the live setting. Ritual of Stone Sun succeeds because Nytt Land understand that power doesn’t always have to come from volume or aggression. Sometimes it comes from a voice, a rhythm and the confidence to let both hold the listener’s attention.

Dark, hypnotic and beautifully controlled, this is a live album that feels like a performance rather than a document of one brute force, allowing the vocals and percussion to carry the track towards something powerful without tipping into excess.

As a live album, Ritual of Stone Sun benefits from the breadth of its tracklist. The set moves between different eras of Nytt Land’s work, bringing together their earlier Nordic influences with the more recent focus on Siberian traditions. That could easily have resulted in a fragmented experience, but the performance holds together remarkably well.

If there is a criticism, it is that the deliberate pacing can occasionally blur the distinction between individual moments. This is not a record built around instant hooks or sharp stylistic turns, and listeners unfamiliar with Nytt Land may find themselves wishing for a little more variation across the set.

But that is a relatively minor complaint when the performances are this absorbing. Ritual of Stone Sun succeeds because it captures more than just a concert. It feels like a carefully constructed performance with its own momentum and identity, driven by compelling vocals and a sense of purpose that never feels manufactured.

For fans, this is more than a document of a live show. For newcomers, it offers a striking entry point into the world Nytt Land have built.
