  • THE PRETTY RECKLESS Announce Fifth Studio Album ‘DEAR GOD’ Arriving June 26 & Premiere New Single ‘When I Wake Up’

    Photo: Steph Gomez

Record-breaking, platinum-selling rock band The Pretty Reckless have begun an explosive new era with the announcement of their forthcoming fifth studio album DEAR GOD (pre-order HERE) as well as a 2026 headlining world tour. Arriving alongside the announcement is their new single When I Wake Up, out now via Fearless Records.

Marking the beginning of a new creative chapter, DEAR GOD embraces vulnerability, intensity and artistic freedom, inviting listeners into one of the band’s most raw and uncompromising records yet. The band approached the album with a renewed commitment to raw diaristic songwriting. The high-octane new single When I Wake Up leans into a punk-driven sound while staying true to what has become the band’s signature: explosive guitars and Momsen’s unmistakable powerhouse vocal. The album will also include their chart-topping single For I Am Death, which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart last November, marking their fourth consecutive No. 1 and the second time the band has achieved this impressive feat.

Speaking about the song and new album, frontwoman Taylor Momsen said “‘When I Wake Up’ is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare. When a life of excess leads you on a rollercoaster that is doomed to crash but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time…”

The Pretty Reckless will bring their electrifying stage performance to fans across the world with their all-new headlining DEAR GOD Tour. The tour will kick off in North America, making stops in New Orleans, Dallas, and Los Angeles before wrapping in Europe. This tour follows their incredible two-year long trek across the globe alongside AC/DC on the PWR UP Tour.

This upcoming marquee year follows a remarkable 12 months for the band, which included an acclaimed performance at the prestigious 2026 Musicares Person of the Year Gala, where Taylor honored the legendary Mariah Carey alongside the Foo Fighters, as well as a performance at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame where Taylor performed with Soundgarden for their induction. Additionally, the band released their holiday EP Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas, which features the revamped Where Are You Christmas? – the lead single hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs Chart, reigniting over two decades of global fandom and nostalgia.

    DEAR GOD Tracklisting:

    01. Life Evermore Pt. 2
    02. For I Am Death
    03. When I Wake Up

  • ‘The Tide Is Turning’ For Award-Winning Blues Rockers WHEN RIVERS MEET Single & Video Out Now

    Photo: Rob Blackham

At the confluence of alternative rock and gritty blues, award-winning duo When Rivers Meet make music from the heart that’s food for the soul. As intuitive as they’re instinctive, this finely tuned husband and wife team is fiercely autonomous and unflinchingly bold.

One of a handful of fully independent UK artists to have achieved two Official UK Charts Top 10 albums, When Rivers Meet is a band without boundaries. And new single The Tide Is Turning maintains the consistent flow of critically acclaimed releases that have long since marked out Grace and Aaron Bond as ones to watch.

It’s a raw and edgy anthem that comes from those nights on the road when everything feels a little rough around the edges. The windows rattle from the amps, the venue is packed and noisy, there’s the smell of beer in the air and the floor’s sticky.

“The Tide Is Turning captures that chunk of time before you walk out into the lights,” explains Grace. “Everything’s loud, messy and often chaotic but you can feel something building. I like that it isn’t about everything being polished and easy. It’s about trusting that momentum even when you’re still figuring things out.”

Aaron adds: “This one comes straight from real gig life. Dingy rooms, long drives, never quite knowing what kind of night you’re about to have but still believing you’re moving somewhere. The line ‘we found our way out of the dark’ really sums it up. You just keep going until the tide turns.”

The Tide Is Turning is the first single taken from summer 2026 album Rhythm Rust & Static and its arrival couldn’t be more timely for the Bonds. Grace and Aaron are expecting their first child following an intense period of songwriting and recording. And Bond Jr will be hitting the road later this year as Rhythm Rust & Static’s release is supported by a series of headline shows across the UK.

“We’re a married couple expecting our first baby in March and then heading straight back out on tour in July with a four-month-old,” adds Grace. “To us it seems like the most natural thing to do and Rhythm Rust & Static feels like a very natural step for us creatively. With our previous album, Addicted To You, we leaned into a much bigger, more produced sound. When we started thinking about the next album, though, we felt drawn to something a little more raw and intimate. In many ways Rhythm Rust & Static reminds us of the records we always loved growing up — those first albums bands make where everything feels a little less polished and a bit more alive. That spirit was something we really wanted to capture with the new album.”

When Rivers Meet usher in a brave new era on the back of three successive Band Of The Year wins at the UK Blues Awards and multiple tours across the UK, US and Europe. Grace and Aaron continue to build on the striking potential that landed the duo Planet Rock Radio’s Best New Band award in 2021.

And on the back of 2025’s top four UK album Addicted To You, the Bonds are determined to break down more barriers and broaden their reach within a constantly evolving music industry.

A big part of our story is also the independent side of what we’ve built,” adds Aaron. “We’ve never had a label or management. And we’ve turned down major record deals along the way because we’ve always wanted to stay independent and follow our own path. When Rivers Meet has never followed the music industry rulebook. We’re proud to go our own way.”

April 2026.

    • Johnny Gioeli – Gesang
    • Bobby Rondinelli – Schlagzeug (u.a. Rainbow, Black Sabbath)
    • Volker Krawczak – Bass
    • Ferdy Doernberg – Keyboards

  • UK Deathcore Titans Suffer Unleash New Single and Video “Pendulum of Vengeance” – Out Now – @thebeast

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
UK Deathcore Titans Suffer Unleash New Single and Video “ Pendulum of Vengeance” – Out Now
UK deathcore heavy hitters Suffer have unleashed their crushing new single “ Pendulum of Vengeance,” now available across all major streaming platforms. The band has also released the official music video, which premiered through Slam Worldwide .
    Watch the video here:

Formed in late 2018, Suffer wasted no time carving their name into the UK and European deathcore underground. They made their live debut in April 2019 supporting Annotations of an Autopsy in Birmingham, then followed with their first release Slerm in July 2019. What came next was a five year barrage of singles, videos, the Heavy Silence EP, and their debut full length The Sorrow We Sow, The Hatred We Know .
Relentless touring across the UK and Europe saw the band build a reputation for ferocious live shows and no nonsense intensity, sharing stages with some of the most formidable names in the genre.
In April 2024, founding members Ash and Chobba parted ways with the band, closing the first chapter of Suffer’s story. After a transitional period marked by two standalone singles and a one off live appearance, the remaining members made a bold call: reinvent or fade out.
    They chose reinvention.
As of August 2025, Suffer re emerged with a revitalised lineup, welcoming Greg Hevican on vocals and Klaudiusz Trzebuniak on guitar. The chemistry was immediate. The direction sharper. The sound heavier and more deliberate. With several explosive live shows already under their belt and an exclusive booking deal signed with DC Sound Attack , Suffer are setting the stage for a defining year.
“ Pendulum of Vengeance” is the first statement from this new era.
The track dives headfirst into the darker side of human instinct, examining the satisfaction and gratification that can come from exacting revenge. It explores the uncomfortable truth that, for many, the first reaction is vengeance rather than peaceful resolution.
    The band explains:
“ Pendulum of Vengeance is about the satisfaction and gratification you can take away from exacting revenge upon someone. It represents how this instinct is part of who we are as a species. For most people, our thought process leans toward vengeance before it ever leans toward peaceful resolution.”
    They continue:
“ The pendulum symbolises the inevitability of that cycle. No matter what happens when revenge is taken, the pendulum still swings left to right. The person you exact revenge upon will often look to do the same in return. It becomes a continuous, endless cycle.”
The single was written and composed by Suffer, with lyrics by Greg Hevican. Recording and editing were handled by Anthony Wall at Firestorm Studios. Tone creation, mixing, and mastering were completed by Will Cattanach at Freewill Productions. Visual production including photography and videography was captured by Chris at Brooker Films.
    This is only the beginning.
A second single is locked in for May, followed by a brand new EP scheduled for release in August 2026. Extensive touring is planned across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe, with additional announcements and two European festival slots to be revealed soon.
Suffer are not just back. They are reloaded, recalibrated, and ready to swing.
