THE ZAC SCHULZE GANG Announce 2027 UK Headline Tour

Photo: Zaac Cornwell Off the back of their sold-out concert at London’s Islington Garage on Saturday April 11, and winning the “Young Artist of the Year” award for the second year in a row at the UK Blues Awards 2026, Kent blues rock trio The Zac Schulze Gang are pleased to announce their 2027 UK Headline Tour which includes their biggest London concert to date at The Islington Assembly Hall on Saturday February 27th.
Tickets go on sale 10am on Friday April 10th from alttickets.com, Gigantic.com and The Zac Schulze Gang.
The band are best known for their explosive live shows and their signature blend of 70’s classic blues rock and modern alternative influences. Guitarist Zac Schulze commands the punk intensity of Wilko Johnson, the blues rock finesse of Rory Gallagher, and the adrenaline-pumped rock presence of AC/DC’s Angus Young.
Over the past few years, the Kent-based trio have built a loyal following who are fans of their blistering, raw-to-the-bone live shows. They’ve toured the UK and Europe extensively and have supported the likes of Samantha Fish on several tours. Their explosive sound combines classic British R&B with punk urgency, first-class musicianship, and non-stop onstage excitement.
Released in September 2025, the band’s debut album Straight To It says it all. The trio doesn’t mess around with niceties, preferring to play the kind of blues-infused rock’n’roll that grabs you by the throat.

Photo: Phil Honley Guitarist Zac Schulze, is a world-class shredder, playing with precision, speed, and passion, but the focus of the trio isn’t just his solos. The Zac Schulze Gang is an undeniable gang, a group unified by a like-minded sensibility that adds an electrifying charge to their rock’n’roll. Zac rides the thunder generated by the rhythm section of his drummer brother Ben Schulze and bassist Ant Greenwell. The trio create a massive roar, without losing sight of what matters most, the songs.
The Zac Schulze Gang’s sound and work ethic harks back to the much-loved live dynamic and relentless touring schedules of 70s icons including Rory Gallagher and Dr Feelgood. Their unique sound also embodies elements of heritage classic rock acts like AC/DC and Thin Lizzy, while giving a nod to contemporary influences like Turnstile, Royal Blood and Queens of the Stone Age.

The Gang have made lasting impressions at festivals including Eric Clapton’s Crossroads, Planet Rock’s Winter End, Fairport’s Cropredy Festival, and the Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon where the band first exploded onto the scene.
Zac Schulze won “Emerging Artist of the Year” at the UK Blues Awards 2024 and followed this by winning “Young Artist of the Year” at the UK Blues Awards in 2025 and 2026. With sold-out concerts in the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, the Zac Schulze Gang are the band to watch.

SAMANTHA FISH Announces Her First Official Live Album “Paper Doll Live” Released On June 12th

GRAMMY-nominated guitarist and singer Samantha Fish will release Paper Doll Live via Rounder Records on Friday June 12th, her first official live album, capturing the electrifying stage presence that has made her one of the most compelling performers in modern blues and roots music. Pre-order the album HERE.
New single “Sweet Southern Sounds – Live” is available on all streaming platforms HERE.
A leading guitarist of her generation, Fish is known for her bold musicianship, emotional depth, and fearless song writing. A multi-award-winning festival headliner, she has built her reputation on explosive live performances that blend raw guitar power with deeply expressive vocals. Following the critical success of her GRAMMY-nominated album Paper Doll, the new live record showcases the intensity and chemistry that define her shows night after night.
“Truly, this is for the fans,” Fish says of making her first official live record. “We’ve had numerous requests over the years. Paper Doll felt so great on stage — it felt like the perfect time to showcase the band and our live show.”
Recorded at the historic Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee, Paper Doll Live captures a band fully locked in and feeding off a packed crowd. The venue’s natural warmth and acoustics created an ideal setting for the recording, elevated even further by the addition of Nashville gospel legends The McCrary Sisters, whose soaring harmonies bring added depth and emotion to the performance.
“Their voices lifted every song,” Fish says. “I love beautiful backing vocals — they pack an emotional punch. I’ve been a fan of them for years, so that was really special for me.”

Photo: Doug Hardesty Fans travelled from across the country to attend the recording, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and celebration inside the theatre.
“Our fans aren’t afraid to travel,” Fish says. “When we announced the show, people got excited. I think that build-up always helps make a better show.”
The result is a performance that feels both ferocious and communal — a moment where the band, the songs, and the audience meet in real time. While the studio album Paper Doll marked a breakthrough in Fish’s artistic confidence, the live setting strips away polish and leaves only instinct.
“There’s a fire that comes across in live performance that doesn’t always translate in studio albums,” Fish says. “The stage lays all of that bare.”
Songs evolve and expand in the live environment. Outros stretch. Studio fade-outs become powerful climaxes. Tracks like “Lose You” build with relentless momentum, while “Sweet Southern Sounds” allows Fish to lean into her hypnotic North Mississippi-inspired guitar phrasing. The title track “Paper Doll” lands as a defiant anthem night after night, igniting crowds with its refusal to conform.
And when the band launches into a blistering cover of MC5’s “Kick Out the Jams,” the room detonates.

Photo: Phil Honley For Fish, the difference between studio and stage is elemental.
“The studio is where you build and create your sound,” she says. “The stage is where you execute all of that. Having a crowd takes you out of your head and gives you something to play off.”
Emerging from Kansas City’s blues lineage and shaped by influences ranging from Prince and Leonard Cohen to the legends of Mississippi Hill Country blues, Fish has long treated performance as her proving ground. From cold-calling bars as a teenager to headlining international festivals, she has developed a live show that balances catharsis and control, boldness and vulnerability.
With Paper Doll Live, she isn’t reinventing herself — she’s documenting the power of what she and her band do every night.
“I just wanted to capture what we do every night,” Fish says. “It wasn’t about chasing something new. It was about capturing the thing that has connected so deeply over the years.”
If Paper Doll was a declaration of artistic power, Paper Doll Live is the sound of that power unleashed — immediate, unfiltered, and impossible to ignore.
Critics agree that a live show from Samantha Fish is nothing short of electrifying – “wild” and “raunchy,” as Louder Than War puts it, and an “absolute must-see.” Onstage, she’s a “force to be reckoned with,” tearing into solos “like it owed her money,” with crowd reactions that border on feral, according to Parklife DC. Reviews consistently point to the intensity of her performances, driven by savage guitar work and a commanding presence (Blues Rock Review), while others admit they were unprepared for her sheer energy and charisma, noting that she “can rock the house” (Americana Highways). Add in her swagger, blistering blues licks, and a voice packed with raw emotion, and it’s clear why the Nottingham Post calls her the complete blues package.

“I Just Fly Real High” — Donzii Take Flight With Dark Dance Track “Bird”
Do we get lost when the soldier is libido
You can’t buy me now that I am free now
One good moment
Take take take to feel now
Don’t drive me away, I could be so funAs Donzii prepare to hit the road with Adult., they’re not easing into the tour with a polite little handshake and a merch-table smile. They’re kicking the door open with Bird, a track that feels like it was engineered to ricochet off club walls and rattle rib cages. For a band with a reputation for turning live shows into something closer to theatrical possession than standard gig routine, it’s a sharp way to mark the first night out.
Bird is sleek, dangerous, and sensuous. The Los Angeles-by-way-of-Miami outfit has already built its name on spectacle, mood, and a wild performance instinct; here, they bottle some of that lightning. This track is aimed squarely at the club, but it carries enough bite to leave a mark by closing time.
The synths come in with a hard, bright smack, the beat keeps shoving from below like a bad idea you know you’re going to follow anyway, and the guitar slices through the machine throb with just enough abrasion. You can hear Boy Harsher and IDLES as reference points, as well as a dash of Virgin Prunes, though Donzii sound less like they’re borrowing from any particular sound than mashing these temperaments into the same combustible little engine. Bird flutters and flaps with dance-floor purpose, though there’s still enough strain in the performance to keep it from going cold.
And yes, it has a concept, but nobody needs to run from the room waving their arms because the art kids brought theory again. The dream of flight at the center of the song gives it lift without making it precious. You feel that tug throughout the arrangement, that urge to rise above the stale rituals of work, consumption, and low-grade spiritual anesthesia while the floor keeps hauling you back with another kick drum thump. It’s about wonder, escape, and the sorry fact that modern life has trained plenty of people to treat wonder like an inconvenience.
The band explains it plainly enough: “This song was inspired by a dream Jenna had where she had figured out how to fly! She thought it was insane and incredible, but no one seemed to bat an eye or care. Rather than a commentary on ego- this dream reflects the often disaffected approach people have toward the wonder of life. It’s not just about driving a car to work and buying shit. Life is an ecstatic ecstasy! Every breath is so insane and precious. Bird is an expression of wanting to maintain that wonder and share it.”
That spirit comes through. Bird has muscle, mood, and a welcome streak of mania, and it also suggests that Kaliedoscopic may have more on its mind than merely keeping the dancefloor hoppin’.

PHIL JAMIESON Announces New Solo Album ’10CHARLIE’ Set For Aug 14 Release, New Single ‘WEEKENDS’ And Massive 44 Date Australian Tour

Photo: Laura May Grogan Australian singer-songwriter Phil Jamieson has today announced a huge new chapter in his solo career, unveiling his brand-new single Weekends (out now), alongside news of his forthcoming sophomore album 10Charlie (presave here), set for release August 14.
To celebrate the album, Jamieson will embark on an enormous tour of Australia, PJ AIR, hitting venues across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory. With more than 40 shows nationwide, PJ AIR is one of Jamieson’s most ambitious solo tours yet. Tickets go on sale at 9am local time on Monday 13 April from www.philjamieson.com.au/.
New single Weekends offers the first taste of 10Charlie, a record that sees Jamieson diving deeper into his storytelling instincts, blending reflective lyricism, ambient guitar textures and that unmistakable voice that has defined Australian alternative music for decades.
“Weekends. It’s a destination. It’s a place among the tall pines. It’s a restaurant / bar / coffee shop / diner. You can go to Weekends on a Monday. It’s a place to agree or disagree,” explains Jamieson. “The song is built around intimacy and hope. And it has some fun guitars.”10Charlie represents Jamieson at his most personal and direct, capturing moments of introspection and transcendence. Reuniting with producer Oscar Dawson and featuring collaborations with artists including Davey Lane, Rob Muinos, Ben Edgar and Soph Ozard, the album is at times both meditative and furious; as Jamieson presents stories of reflection fueled by moments of introspection and an overall commitment to pouring into one’s own elevation and fulfilment. 10Charlie weaves its way through melody and nuance with ease, matching Jamieson’s signature charisma and frenetic energy as a rock vocalist and musician. “This album is much more personal than my first record. In times of intense turbulence, I’ve written what I’ve needed to hear,” Jamieson says. “It’s a balm for my soul. 10Charlie is a boarding pass. You are not in the exit row, your luggage can be stored under the seat in front of you. Please follow all cabin crew directions and fasten your seat belt for take off.”
The PJ AIR tour will see Jamieson taking the new songs, alongside fan favourites from across his catalogue, to communities and venues throughout Australia. From breweries and theatres to beloved local pubs, the tour celebrates the grassroots venues and music scenes that have always been at the heart of Australian live music. Excited to perform his new album for fans in every pocket of Australia, Jamieson enthuses,“PJ AIR is a BIG adventure. My co-pilot is Ricky Albeck and I can’t wait to play for you all. Songs will be sung and stories will be told.”
Weekends is out now.
10CHARLIE will be released on Friday 14 August, and is available to presave here.
