  • Spiritbox Announce Massive 2026 European Arena Tour With Jinjer And Dying Wish

    spiritbox-2025-new

Is Spiritbox Entering Their Arena Era In 2026?

Yes — their first-ever U.K. arena headline shows and a predominantly arena-sized European run mark a clear escalation in scale.

    TL;DR

    Spiritbox announce 2026 European tour
First U.K. arena headline shows confirmed
Jinjer and Dying Wish join as special guests
    Tour continues Tsunami Sea momentum
    Most dates are arena-level venues
    Band’s rise shows no slowdown

I’ve watched Spiritbox’s trajectory closely over the past few years, and this announcement doesn’t feel like a gamble — it feels like the next logical step for a band that has been systematically outgrowing every room placed in front of them.

2026 looks like the year Spiritbox stop knocking on the arena door and simply walk through it.

See Spiritbox live — secure your tickets today!

    Why This Tour Hits Hard

Spiritbox’s ascent hasn’t followed the usual metal blueprint. No painfully slow grind. No decade of “almost there.” Instead, the band have built momentum through sharp execution — high-impact releases, relentless touring, and performances that consistently justify the hype.

Following their Grammy Awards appearance — marking a third consecutive nomination — Spiritbox have now confirmed something fans have long suspected:

    They’re ready for arenas.

Their first-ever U.K. arena headline tour is officially happening.

The Tsunami Sea Cycle Refuses To Peak

After a sold-out Alexandra Palace show in 2025, many assumed Spiritbox had hit the natural high-water mark for this album phase.

    Not even close.

The Tsunami Sea tour now stretches deep into Europe, with the majority of dates scaling into arena-sized venues. That’s a rare move for a modern heavy band — and an even rarer one to feel completely earned.

    A Ruthlessly Strong Lineup

    Joining Spiritbox on the run:

    • Jinjer
    • Dying Wish

    This isn’t filler support.

This is a volatility-stacked bill designed for impact.

    Built For Big Rooms

Spiritbox’s sound has always carried arena DNA:

    ✔ Massive dynamic shifts
    ✔ Cinematic textures
    ✔ Hook-driven heaviness
    ✔ Devastating live translation

    At the center:

    • Courtney LaPlante — one of modern metal’s most commanding vocalists
    • Mike Stringer — precision riff architect
    • Zev Rose — rhythmic backbone
    • Josh Gilbert — low-end authority + melodic balance

    They don’t just sound huge.

    They scale naturally.

    The Collaboration That Changed Perception

Their crossover moment with Megan Thee Stallion didn’t dilute Spiritbox’s identity — it reframed expectations around what a modern metal band can be.

Metal talks endlessly about breaking boundaries.

    Spiritbox actually did it.

Check This Out – New Titans & Revitalized Legends: The 13 Canadian Bands Defining Modern Metal

    Courtney LaPlante’s Impact Beyond Vocals

LaPlante’s presence has become larger than performance alone. Her leadership and visibility have pushed conversations around:

    • Representation
    • Equality
    • Creative space for women in heavy music

    Not through slogans.

    Through credibility and execution.

    The Charts Confirmed The Momentum

    Both records delivered measurable proof:

    • Eternal Blue → U.K. Top 20
    • Tsunami Sea → U.K. Top 20 + Billboard Hard Rock No. 1

    That’s not press-cycle inflation.

    That’s audience validation.

From Alexandra Palace To Stadium Stages

    Recent milestones underline the acceleration:

✔ Mainstage debut at Download Festival
✔ Wembley Stadium support with Linkin Park
✔ 2026 North American support for Evanescence

This isn’t “next big thing” energy anymore.

    This is arrival energy.

    Why This Matters Now

Metal rarely allows rapid ascents without turbulence. Backlash, burnout, or collapse usually follow.

    Spiritbox?

    Still climbing.
    Still evolving.
    Still sounding dangerous.

This arena run isn’t just another tour announcement — it’s a statement about where the band now sit in the modern heavy hierarchy.

    And if the trajectory holds…

They’re nowhere near their ceiling yet.

    Band Bio: Spiritbox

Spiritbox are a Canadian metal band known for fusing metalcore, progressive metal, and atmospheric electronics into a sound that swings from surgical calm to full-impact chaos in a heartbeat. Fronted by Courtney LaPlante, the band built a reputation on emotional intensity and precision songwriting, with riff architect Mike Stringer providing the backbone for their massive dynamic shifts. Spiritbox broke through globally with Eternal Blue, then continued their mainstream climb with Tsunami Sea, pairing modern heaviness with hooks that actually stick. On stage, they’re a “big room” band in the truest sense — controlled, crushing, and built for moments that make an arena feel claustrophobic.

  • UK Burger Bar’s Fake Toto Plaque Angers Local Historical Society

Toto members David Paich and Jeff Porcaro wrote “Africa,” the band’s immortal 1982 chart-topper, because Paich had just seen a late-night TV documentary about poverty in Africa and because he was excited to try out the horn sounds that he could make on a new polyphonic keyboard that he’d just bought. Paich and Porcaro had never been to Africa when the wrote the song. Also, when the two of them wrote the song, they were not sitting in a UK burger bar that didn’t open this decade. That burger bar does have a plaque saying otherwise, but it’s supposed to be a joke.

  • KARLY JEWELL Returns Home to Headline Wentworth Cancer Benefit Concert on Saturday, March 7

Melbourne-based artist Karly Jewell will return to her hometown of Wentworth, NSW on March 7 to headline a special Cancer Benefit Concert at the Wentworth Showgrounds, bringing together music, community and culture for a full day dedicated to raising funds for cancer research.

The event, founded by local organiser Patrick Nunan, was created to support cancer research and community awareness. Now in its second year, the 2026 edition sees Jewell stepping in as headliner to help grow the event into something lasting and meaningful for the region she still calls home.

For me this isn’t just another show,” says Jewell. “My late grandfather helped establish country music festivals in the area many years ago, so coming back to Wentworth to be part of something that supports the community and raises money for cancer research feels like a full circle moment and something we can continue to build on.”

While this show is firmly rooted in community, Jewell returns home with significant momentum behind her. Her second full length album There’s A Jewell In Town recently debuted at No.3 on the ARIA Australian Artists Chart, cementing her reputation as one of Melbourne’s most powerful contemporary rock voices.

Known for dynamic live performances and a voice that moves easily between rock grit and heartfelt delivery, Jewell has built a growing international audience through releases including the latest single Rock Ain’t Pretty, a track that captures the reality of carving out a life in music through persistence and hard work rather than shortcuts.

Her career has taken her from Melbourne’s iconic live venues to international stages including Los Angeles’ Whisky A Go Go and the Viper Room, alongside tours of Japan and strong global radio support. Despite that upward trajectory, the March 7 event remains deeply personal.

The Mayor of Wentworth will officially open proceedings and the day runs from 11am to 9pm with free entry and donation points throughout the site, the all-ages community fundraiser will feature a diverse lineup of live music and cultural performances, alongside family entertainment, food vendors and local exhibitors.

The Dreadful Tides | Photo: Shot by Slaidins

Joining Jewell on stage are Audio Reign, The Dreadful Tides and a selection of local and visiting artists, alongside appearances from the Thuukalu Dancers performing traditional Indigenous dance, Irish dancers, children’s entertainers Little Notes and a range of community performers across the day.

The event has drawn strong support from across the Wentworth and Sunraysia region, with sponsorship from Wentworth Shire Council, Trio Support Services and The Coomealla Club, alongside backing from local businesses and media including Triple M Sunraysia, BCF, Autobarn and music industry partners, Melbourne Backline, Maric Media, Shot By Slaidins and XMusic.

Beyond the music, the showgrounds will host food vendors, family activities, raffles and community stalls, reinforcing the event’s focus on connection as much as entertainment. All proceeds and donations from the day will go toward cancer research initiatives, with organisers encouraging attendees to register for free tickets in advance and contribute via on-site donation points.
