Charleston, SC – South Carolina melodic death metal powerhouse HOMICYDE continue expanding their international reach with an exclusive in-depth interview published by Metal Hammer Italy , one of Europe’s premier heavy metal publications.
The feature explores the band’s acclaimed album Immortal , their uncompromising DIY philosophy, songwriting process, personal journey, and the evolution of one of the American underground’s most dedicated melodic death metal acts.

Speaking about the emotional foundation behind the record, vocalist Jacob Parrott explains:


“We personally had gone through a lot of losses before we wrote these songs. The songs are the product of the emotions we felt because of those losses and the situations that resulted from them.”


Drummer Carl Parrott II also shares how the loss of his son became the emotional catalyst behind much of the album, making Immortal the band’s most personal and heartfelt release to date.
