Kid Kapichi have announced details of a big 2026 UK and European headline tour.
The extensive 24-date run kicks off on home soil, with the duo heading to Bristol, Falmouth, Southampton, Norwich, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and London in November. Then they’ll cross over to mainland Europe, with the tour wrapping up in Madrid, Spain on December 12.
“We are excited to finally announce our biggest and most extensive tour to date in the UK and Europe,” they say. “We’ve been super eager to get back on the road and play this new album for the first time ever. We’re a live band, and this is what we live for and enjoy the most. We’ll be playing a mix from Fearless Nature and the classics, so grab your tickets.”

SCATTERBRAIN are back with their second-ever track, and it showcases just how brilliant Brian Burkheiser is at penning a huge rock song.
It’s titled ‘FAST LANE’, and finds the project stepping into the world of arena-ready modern rock.
A patient build of bubbling atmospheres quickly transforms into a chorus that hits like a freight train. Lyrically, it finds Brian as open and honest as we have come to expect, speaking about the lingering wounds from the hurdles he has faced over the last few years and how they have affected the way he has approached not just this project but his life outside of music.
Knowing that things aren’t the same as they were before, but also knowing that you need to keep on pushing for the people in your life that you love, it’s a defiant statement, to say the least.

According to producer Flemming Rasmussen, yes—he says nothing happened in the band unless Cliff Burton approved it.
For years, the standard narrative has been clear—James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich built Metallica.
This new perspective complicates that.
In a recent interview with Metal Hammer, producer Flemming Rasmussen—who worked on Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, and …And Justice For All—offered a very different version of how the band operated in its early years.
According to Rasmussen: “Nothing really happened in Metallica unless Cliff nodded ‘yes’.”
That’s not a small statement—it reframes the internal dynamic of one of the biggest bands in metal history.

Their fervent fanbase is so central to the BTS narrative (and to BTS-related web traffic) that every news story about the band seems written directly, panderingly, and very carefully for fans and fans alone, as if the ARMYs exert a kind of psychic editorial control. BTS is so load-bearing for the K-pop industry that their personal fortunes have caused actual economic fluctuations. After the band’s free(!) comeback concert drew a smaller-than-expected crowd, shares in their label Hybe fell 15.5%, a sell-off that Korean analysts called “baffling and confusing.”

I want to know who decided “V” was the new “U”, but I guess that’s just how things go these days. Such is the case anyway for Hellripper’s post-album release and the single that coincided with it, “Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm”.
This new single is described by Hellripper’s mastermind/dude that plays everything on the recording James McBain as a tale of witchcraft and possession through the lens of some schlocky horrof flixrd.
“‘Blakk Satanik Fvkkstorm’ is “a tale of witchcraft and possession set in a bleak moorland village inspired by Victorian Gothic Literature – particularly the ghost story of ‘Thrawn Janet’ by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson. Lyrically, to match the vibe and energy of the track, I wanted my interpretation of the tale to feel like an 80’s horror film. This is perhaps the most “full-on” track on the album, and that’s reflected in its shorter length. It’s motor-charged, black ‘n’ roll in the vein of Venom, with a dose of classic heavy metal for good measure!”.
