Surprise: Nine Inch Nails Put Out ‘Tron Ares: Divergence’ Album of Unreleased and Remixed Tracks
This probably wasn’t on your radar, but Nine Inch Nails came out today with a surprise release that fans of their Tron Ares soundtrack will immediately dig. Dubbed Tron Ares: Divergence, this new offering from Trent Reznor and company is something of a companion piece to the acclaimed Tron Ares soundtrack.
In today’s release, Divergence features some previously unreleased tracks, as well as some remixes by some big names in electronic music. We’re talkin’ the likes of Boys Noize, Arca, Mark Pritchard, Chilly Gonzales, and Danny L Harle.
The entire album boasts 20 tracks, including Arca’s take on the GRAMMY-winning cut “As Alive As You Need Me To Be.” Rather than list all the other worthwhile inclusions in Divergence, here’s the tracklist:
