EAST OV EDEN’S DEBUT ALBUM BOUNDLESS FEATURED BY MUSIC JUNKIE PRESS
Memphis, Tennessee based extreme metal outfit East Ov Eden continue building momentum following the release of their debut full-length album BOUNDLESS, now receiving praise from Music Junkie Press for the album’s crushing intensity, cinematic atmosphere, and fearless songwriting approach.
In their recent feature, Music Junkie Press described BOUNDLESS as “an absolute monster of a release,” highlighting the band’s seamless fusion of deathcore, technical death metal, orchestral arrangements, atmospheric melodies, and massive choruses.
The feature praised East Ov Eden for refusing to stay confined within genre boundaries, stating:
“One minute the album is crushing and chaotic, the next it shifts into cinematic layers and massive choruses. It honestly feels like they refused to put any limits on what this record could be.”
Music Junkie Press also noted the band’s ability to stand apart from modern extreme metal peers while still appealing to fans of All Shall Perish, Signs of the Swarm, and Cattle Decapitation.
Specific attention was given to standout tracks including “…TO A MOONLIT GARDEN” and “PERPETUAL HORROR” for their dynamic songwriting and atmosphere, while “SOULWEAVER” and “IT ENDS IN FEAR” were recognized for delivering relentless deathcore aggression and punishing breakdowns.
Since the release of BOUNDLESS, East Ov Eden have continued gaining traction throughout the underground metal scene with their explosive blend of brutality, technicality, and cinematic scope. The band has shared stages with artists including Vended, Filth, Inferi, Hunt The Dinosaur, Æther Realm, Ov Ruin, In Gloom, and more, while also appearing at the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest.

The Accüsed founding guitarist, Tommy Niemeyer, has emerged with a potent (and semi-resurrected) new lineup and brand new single and video for “Interfectrix.” Back in 2025, Niemeyer reunited with original vocalist John Dahlin for the “Garden of Fools” single, but the latest incarnation of the band sees drummer Josh Sinder (from the NastyMix era in the early 90s) and late-2000s-era vocalist Brad Mowen in the fold alongside Sinder’s bass playing daughter, Brookelle. On “Interfectrix,” the quartet sound feistier than ever, harkening back to their ripping splattercore roots. The video is simple enough, a mix of performance footage shot under a blue/purple black light glow by J&B at Dig Dig Deep Productions.

“Interfectrix” was recorded by Josh Sinder, Niemeyer and Seattle legend Jack Endino (who also mixed and mastered it). You can get your digital copy here. The band is set to embark on a European tour in September (dates below).

Tommy Niemeyer had this to say about the band’s new track:

“‘Interfectrix’ is Latin for female assassin, and for us that means Martha Splatterhead doing what she’s always done—going after predators and the filth that keeps poisoning the world. There is no AI involved in making the song or video either. The band is faster and more explosive than we have ever been! I am super happy with the line-up of Josh Sinder and his daughter Brookelle and Brad Mowen. This is the most potent line-up the Accüsed has ever had.”

Incidentally, today also marks the first day of the Great Escape, the four-day music festival that also takes place along Brighton Beach. Festival organizers have issued a statement about the incident, assuring festivalgoers that “the section of beach occupied by the Great Escape Festival site has not been affected.”
