  • Monolord Reveal New Album ‘Neverending’, First Single “You Bastard” Streaming Now

    Awww shit, guys. Swedish doom metal titans Monolord is looking to make 2026 their year. Not only are they going to have a huge list of tour dates to go through, but they’ve also got a brand new album coming out on May 29 via Relapse Records titled Neverending.

    Boasting eight new songs, Neverending is Monolord’s first new album since the release of 2021’s Your Time To Shine. To celebrate today’s announcement, the band released the album’s first single, a track titled “You Bastard”. It’s a loud and heavy one, so enjoy.

    Speaking of how things have been in the band since 2013, drummer Esben Williams said things have been pretty great.

    “It’s been a wild ride and still is. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished along the way, and in many ways, this album feels like the essence of everything we’ve done so far. My mindset is the same it’s always been, to be the absolute best the three of us can be.”

    Neverending will be released on May 29 via Relapse Records, but you can preorder your copy today.

    The Academy Is… have announced that Jon Walker, of Panic! At The Disco, The Young Veins and more, will be supporting them on their upcoming tour.


    The band have just released their new album ‘Almost There’, their first since 2008’s ‘Fast Times At Barrington High’.

    Jon released his last full-length ‘Different’ back in 2021, with his last standalone track arriving back in 2024 in the form of ‘Everything’.
