Liam Gallagher recently reacted to the leak of an alleged Oasis track on X.
The leak, shared on TikTok, featured a snippet of a song titled ‘Ease My Mind.’ Another user on X posted it, asking, “What the f*ck.” Liam humorously replied, “B f*cking Have,” sparking mixed reactions from fans. One fan commented, “The more you keep it from us, the wilder the rumors will get.”
Another noted, “We all know it’s fake, it sounds like My Chemical Romance.” Someone else added, “It sounds more Coldplay than Oasis honestly.” One fan also commented, “Isn’t it strange to hear your voice made with AI?”
Earlier this year, Oasis announced their reunion shows, marking their first live performance together since 2009. Liam hinted that there was more than just a tour in the works. When asked if the band would have a new album, Liam confirmed, “Yep, it’s already finished.” He also said, “It’s in the bag mate f*ck the air” when another fan inquired about a new record.
In a recent X post, Liam expressed being ‘blown away’ by the music Noel had written for the album. Liam had also suggested in April that Oasis might record a new album in November, following the reunion announcement.
Though Liam often shares playful posts on X, and his tweets are not official confirmations, he has a history of teasing big news before it’s formally announced. For example, he hinted at the band’s reunion and their 2025 UK and Ireland tour dates.
However, Liam recently dismissed earlier comments and clarified that there was ‘no Oasis album in the making.’ Responding to a fan account that claimed the brothers were ‘working intently’ on new music, Liam joked, “I was f*cking joking remember them and the reason being because everyone is a little uptight these days I’m sorry if I have upset anyone but f*ck me it was a laugh.”
Liam also responded to a fan who said the reunion was ‘enough,’ stating, “Exactly people always want more let’s just get in a big stadium and go ape sh*t and see what happens after that you with me or what.” When another fan asked, “Why not?,” he replied, “I’m busy.”
Since the reunion announcement, there have been several AI-generated Oasis covers circulating online, and a UK band even used AI to create a ‘lost’ Oasis album last year.
