Mattock Lil’ Busted Fox Review
The track “Lil’ Busted Fox” opens with a striking guitar riff. Right from the start, listeners understand that this sonic journey will be distinctive. Steve-O Gets a “Robot Prostate Exam” in the Latest ‘Jackass: Best and Last’ Trailer
The men and women of Jackass have done some insanely dumb things. Countless things involving butts and balls and bears (the animal kind) that result in bodily harm for people’s enjoyment have made up the Jackass formula for decades. But in the team’s new and potentially final movie Jackass: Best and Last, they’re leaping into the future, one robot prostate exam at a time.
That’s the hook involved in the latest trailer for the new Jackass movie — a robot dressed in a doctor’s coat saying “let’s let it rip, baby” just before getting one of its cold metal digits crammed in Steve-O’s balloon knot. People also wear a shock collar and get involved in what’s called an “escape room from Hell” that keeps ratcheting up in the trailer.
Truth be told, the whole movie’s sort of heartfelt in a weird way. It features footage from all of the Jackass films, featuring current and former members, including the likes of the late Ryan Dunn and sort-of estranged member Bam Margera. If you’ve followed their shenanigans for a while, you might feel nostalgic for the days when Jackass was new and you and your friends would recreate some of the stunts in the woods behind your town’s Kroegers, even though there are specific warnings against doing that shit.
Jackass: Best and Last will hit theaters on June 26.

The Indio, California country music festival Stagecoach was initially founded in 2007 as a sister festival to Coachella, and in recent years, it too has become a pressure cooker of celebrity sightings and brand sponsorships. Case in point: Sydney Sweeney’s lingerie brand, which is called SYRN but pronounced like “siren” for some reason, had a karaoke bar at Stagecoach, where the Euphoria actor spent her weekend singing with the likes of Diplo, Lance Bass, Ashton Kutcher, and her boyfriend Scooter Braun. There were some country artists there too, though, like Chase Rice, Riley Green, Dan + Shay, and Bailey Zimmerman.

EP Review: Fulci – Risorsero dalla Tomba e Fu… L’Apocalisse!

2026 has already been a solid year for death metal releases with the likes of Immolation, Vomitory, and Six Feet Under to name but a few releasing new material! Italy’s Fulci add themselves to this mix, perhaps a smaller band but one that’s punching above it’s weight as a regular on the extreme metal circuit, whilst extreme metal fans in the UK will have had chance to become acquainted with the bands most recent tour with Sanguisugabogg.
Fulci aim to follow up 2024’s release “Duck Face Killings” with “Risorsero dalla Tomba e Fu…L’Apocalisse”. This is short. Very short. Eleven minutes of three songs, depending on which tariff you use. And even then, the first is a short cinematic style instrumental opening. One that’s as austere as it is intimidating, guaranteed to raise pulses and intrigue. Then we get into the meat and potatoes of the EP with ‘Paura che Uccide’. The guitars make an appearance; slow, marauding, laying down a solid neck snapping groove. Then vocalist Fiore asserts himself with the most demonic of guttural growls. That combination of the low and slow meaty groove infused riffs combined with the blistering pace of the double kick drum gives us shades of Suffocation and Obituary, with a guarantee of the most savage of pits when this eventually gets unleashed on the live arena. It’s easy to see why they’re becoming such a respected name with this kind of talent at their disposal.
Before things can really get going, we’re into the final song, ‘Apoteosi Del Mistero’. Now you’d be forgiven for thinking you’re listening to a Candlemass track given the epic doom metal feel, with the blistering lead guitars and cathedral style greeting you in the early stages of the song. Though Fiore returns with his distinct growls and then everything feels right again. The contrast and juxtaposition of this vocal style imprinted on an epic doom background really is quite something! Something seldom seen within the death metal genre; this speaks to Fulci’s desire to push boundaries and demonstrate what death metal can and should be!
So, there we go, this was an introduction to Fulci. A very short introduction at that. Though there’s no denying this has sparked a curiosity and desire to delve deeper into the band’s discography. Rather than being overwhelmed with 9,10,11, or even more songs spread across an hour. Yep, little and often is the modern way to release music and Fulci understand this.
