  • THE PIT IS CALLING: Dying Fetus, Crowbar, Sanguisugabogg & More Fall North American Tour Confirmed

    dying-fetus-2026

If you’ve been looking for a reason to buy a new mouthguard, your search is over. Death metal legends Dying Fetus have officially announced their massive “Into the Cesspool” Fall 2026 North American tour, bringing along a smorgasbord of carnage including NOLA sludge kings Crowbar and the “caveman” death metal sensations Sanguisugabogg.

This isn’t just a concert run; it’s a month-long offensive featuring the heaviest hitters in death, sludge, deathcore, and grindcore today. With 31 dates across the US and Canada, the pit is officially being summoned.

Into the Cesspool: The Tour Breakdown

    • The Headliner: Dying Fetus continues to dominate following the massive success of their ninth studio album, Make Them Beg for Death.
    • The Sludge Factor: Crowbar returns to the road, bringing the Kirk Windstein riff-power that defined the NOLA sound.
    • The Modern Wave: Sanguisugabogg and Left to Suffer represent the new vanguard of “caveman” riffs and technical deathcore.
    • The Grind: Deterioration provides the high-velocity grindcore foundation for the majority of the tour.
    • Special Guests: Scorching Tomb will join the Canadian dates in Montreal and Toronto.

The Lineup: A Hierarchy of Heaviness

Dying Fetus remains the “wrong one to f*** with” in the extreme metal scene. Known for their surgical precision and the most devastating grooves in Maryland death metal history, John Gallagher and company are currently operating at a peak “Full-Time” efficiency.

Adding Crowbar to the mix is a masterstroke. The “Beard of Doom” himself, Kirk Windstein, brings a much-needed layer of slow, suffocating sludge to balance the high-speed tech-death of the headliners. Meanwhile, Sanguisugabogg continues their rapid ascent, proving that “primitive” riffs are often the most effective at triggering a total venue shutdown.

    The Signal & The Aftershock

This is the kind of tour that defines a genre’s current health. By pairing elder statesmen like Crowbar and Dying Fetus with the rising chaos of Sanguisugabogg, the “Into the Cesspool” run is bridging the gap between the legends and the lunatics. Expect every date on this run to sell out fast, as these lineups are becoming increasingly rare in the post-2025 touring climate. If you’re in Toronto or Montreal, the addition of Scorching Tomb only adds more fuel to an already massive fire.
