MASTER BOOT RECORD (aka MBR) is a Computer Metal project founded in 2016 blending heavy metal with chiptune and demo scene music. Live, MBR deploys a full band alongside Commodore 64, Amiga 500 and a visual voyage into retro computer culture, videogame classics and demo scene legendary productions.
FULCI has been redefining death metal with a unique blend of crushing riffs, cinematic atmospheres, and horror-driven storytelling. Named after the legendary Italian filmmaker and “Godfather of Gore” Lucio Fulci, the band transforms the aesthetics of cult horror into a sonic nightmare, creating albums that feel like soundtracks to blood-soaked films.
AROTTENBIT is an experimental music project founded in 2008 in Milan transforming a Game Boy into a sonic weapon that tears through chiptune, sludge metal, hardcore punk, and techno.

With just days remaining before the release of their 12th studio album and first album with Rob Dukes back as vocalist since 2010’s Exhibit B: The Human Condition, Exodus released the final pre-release single off of Goliath. And though it’s not the thrashiest thing they’ve ever done, they released something that kicks ass all the same.
Available now wherever you stream your tunes, “Promise You This” is a roughly five minute rocker that features all the sorta shit you’d expect from Exodus. Gary Holt wrote some killer riffs and the solo is spot on while the rhythm just pounds away.
According to the band itself, the guys really enjoy performing this one:
“Promise You This” is one of our favorite songs on the new record, it’s just heavy as fuck but rocks just as hard. The song was inspired by some of the life lessons learned from my father and how long it took me to really listen.”
Goliath will be released on March 26, but you can preorder your copy today. You can also see all of Exodus’ currently planned tour dates down below.
Goliath tracklisting:
1. 3111
2. Hostis Humani Generis
3. The Changing Me (feat. Peter Tägtgren)
4. Promise You This
5. Goliath (feat. Katie Jacoby)
6. Beyond The Event Horizon
7. 2 Minutes Hate
8. Violence Works
9. Summon Of The God Unknown
10. The Dirtiest Of The Dozen

Zoh Amba came to underground prominence as a free jazz saxophonist, serving up illuminating skronk that appealed to an experimental rock audience as much if not more than the jazz scene. They also cracked our list of the best new artists of 2022. So it was no surprise that they ended up in the experimental supergroup Beings with Steve Gunn, Jim White, and Shahzad Ismaily or making a record with Chris Corsano and Bill Orcutt. However, this latest foray into the indie rock world is at least a little bit surprising.

Love Rarely have unveiled a new single and video, Severed.
The track is taken from the Leeds math rock/emo crew’s soon-to-be-released debut album Pain Travels, which is due out on April 10 via Big Scary Monsters.
Guitarist Dan Dewsnap says that, “Severed is an exploration of the emotions you feel when having to cut out an alcoholic and hostile family member. Even though they brought so much pain, the relief is also tied in with a dash of guilt that you couldn’t help them change. It ruminates on the positives that draw you in and the negatives that pushed you away.”

Canadian progressive rock duo Crown Lands have steadily emerged as one of the genre’s most ambitious modern voices. Now, the band deliver their new studio album Apocalypse, their most demanding and fully realized work to date, set for release on the 15th May 2026.
Today the band launch their new single “Through The Looking Glass”, alongside another evocative video clip from collaborator Luke Paron.
Kevin comments: “Through the Looking Glass features rolling 12-string arpeggios, Mellotrons, and a 7/8 bridge featuring Moog Leads full proggy fun while also serving up a big chorus. I love this one.
We wanted this song to show the might of the Dragon-Riders before the arrival of the Syndicate on Fearless’ planet. Is there anything cooler than heavy rock ballads about dragons? I think not.”
Cody adds: “This song is one of my favorites we’ve written of this new record. It was a song that came together with our good friend Nick Raskulinecz at his studio in Nashville. We had such a blast writing and recording the whole thing from start to finish and hope y’all enjoy the journey through Karagon’s past!”
Musically and creatively, Apocalypse marks a clear turning point. After completing Rituals entirely in their home studio, the band gained the confidence to take near-total control of the production process. Guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist Kevin Comeau explains: “That record gave us the confidence to realize we could make a Crown Lands album in our own space, without a major-label budget or a big, fancy studio.” That confidence carried directly into Apocalypse, with much of the album written and recorded in the same room the band has worked in since 2020. To enhance the album’s most crucial moments, Crown Lands selectively collaborated with producers Nick Raskulinecz and David Bottrill.
Apocalypse will be released as a Ltd CD Edition, Gatefold Neon Yellow LP, Limited Gatefold Neon Green LP & as Digital Album. It is available for pre-order here.
Crown Lands will be on tour in Canada beginning on Feb 28th along with a stop on Cruise to the Edge in Miami, Florida.
