We’re just a few weeks from the release or Portuguese black metal outfit Gaerea‘s next album Loss and the band saw it fitting to release a new single and accompanying music video in the form of “Nomad”.

Released earlier today, it’s the latest single in the pantheon of songs released ahead of Loss’ release on March 20 via Century Media Records, which will be their first release under that label.

Speaking of the track, the band explained its origins:

“‘The Nomad’ is the individual who goes through life at a constant moving pace just to avoid facing oneself—physically drifting, but emotionally running from guilt, self-doubt, and a fear of becoming something to despise. At its core, it’s a confession of alienation: a nomad not by choice, but by self-punishment and inner collapse.”

Norwegian progressive metal visionary Moonscape , led by multi-instrumentalist Håvard Lunde , returns with the highly anticipated release of Entity, Chapter III: A Sudden Glimpse of Clarity . Since its inception in 2015, Moonscape has pushed the boundaries of story-driven progressive metal, combining conceptual storytelling with intricate musicianship. In Chapter III , the saga follows the protagonist, known simply as “Man,” as he battles isolation, loneliness, and his inner demon—ultimately recognizing it as the voice of his depression. Guided by the characters “Reason” and “Hope,” the story crescendos toward a heartfelt resolution of struggle, self-confrontation, and personal renewal.
The album features an array of guest performers, each bringing life to the narrative:
Matthew Brown (Arkhane) as “Man”/”Demon”
David Åkesson as “Reason”
Nina Pohleven (Inflected) as “Hope”
Instrumental contributions include Cezar Popescu (Vita de Vie) , Andreas Jonsson (ex-Spiral Architect) , Leviathan (Abyss Below) on lead guitars, and Diego Palma (Lord Divine) on keyboards, weaving a rich tapestry of sound that complements the album’s emotional depth.

CDN Records is proud to announce the signing of Buffalo-based death metal force Morgue Terror , gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated full-length album. It was released 6th February via the wonderful Manchester/Brighton based label YYZ Records, there is a very limited CD edition available in addition to the standard digital download.
