THE PARADOX TWIN ANNOUNCE SPECIAL UK LIVE DATES AND FESTIVAL APPEARANCE FOLLOWING ACCLAIMED NEW ALBUM
Following the outstanding response to their recently released third studio album, A Romance of Many Dimensions (https://orcd.co/aromance), UK progressive rock act The Paradox Twin have announced a series of very special live performances for 2026, including two exclusive seated shows and a festival appearance.
After first emerging in 2018 with their critically acclaimed debut The Importance of Mr Bedlam, produced by the legendary John Mitchell (Asia, Frost*, Lonely Robot), the band quickly established themselves as a rising force within the progressive rock scene. With support from White Star Records (co-founded by Mitchell and Chris Hillman), the band earned a Prog Magazine nomination even before their debut release.
Their momentum continued with 2021’s Silence from Signals, further cementing their reputation for delivering emotionally resonant and conceptually rich music.
Now, with A Romance of Many Dimensions receiving widespread praise, The Paradox Twin are set to bring their latest work to the stage. This ambitious concept album explores the increasingly blurred lines between the real and digital worlds, further showcasing the band’s ability to combine intricate musicianship with deeply human storytelling. With three acclaimed albums and a growing international following, the band stand at the forefront of the UK’s modern progressive rock scene.

LIVE DATES ANNOUNCED
The band will perform two intimate, seated headline shows:
- 28 July – Empty Space, Manchester
- 30 July – The Water Rats, London
In addition, The Paradox Twin will appear at Wokingham Festival on 31 August, performing a special festival set.
These exclusive headline performances will feature the new release A Romance of Many Dimensions performed in its entirety, alongside a carefully curated selection of material from the band’s first two albums. The festival appearance will showcase highlights spanning all three records.
A POWERFUL NEW LIVE LINE-UP
These shows will also introduce an expanded and dynamic live line-up. Alongside core members Danny Sorrell (writer, vocals, guitars, keys), Graham Brown (drums), and Sarah Bayley (vocals), the band welcome:
- Dikajee – award-winning keyboardist and recipient of Best Prog Newcomer, bringing new depth and texture to the live sound
- Anthony William has been a member of Ex Simple Mind for over 15 years, enjoying international touring with founding drummer Brian McGee and bringing his own flair to the classic SM songs of the late 70s / early 80s. Anthony is also a pro session player for various other UK and international acts, as well as starring in leading UK theatre show Arrival The Hits Of Abba.
- Steve Mills (Trespass, Lonely Robot) – on bass, also returning after previous live performances with the band
This revitalised line-up promises to deliver the band’s most immersive and compelling live performances to date.
A WORD FROM DANNY SORRELL
“We’ve been blown away by all of the positive reactions to the new album and can’t wait to get out and play it live at a couple of special shows. We are also looking forward to playing a festival set at Wokingham Festival, one of our favourite festivals.”
