East Nashville Hard Rock Force KALAMITY KILLS Announces New Single “Los Días Son Malos”

Watch “Los Dias Son Malos HERE: https://youtu.be/_QAAr2f0nMc
East Nashville hard rock force KALAMITY KILLS returns with “Los Días Son Malos,” a Spanish-language take on their song “These Days Are Evil.” The track captures a sense of cultural unrest and psychological tension that feels unmistakably current, blending aggressive riffs, driving rhythms, and a massive, chant-ready chorus built for rock fans across languages and borders.
“Los Días Son Malos” was born from a renewed connection between frontman Jamie Rowe and the Latin American audience that has followed him since his years with Guardian, whose Spanish-language releases helped build a lasting international fanbase. After revisiting those classic choruses on Instagram and seeing a powerful response from fans, the idea of recording a KALAMITY KILLS song in Spanish began to take shape.

“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have a large Latin American fanbase, due to the Spanish releases from my GUARDIAN years,” says Rowe. “Recently I started randomly singing those old choruses on Instagram, and hundreds of thousands of people showed up to watch. That response stuck with me. Around the same time, Jamey Perrenot’s wife Christie told him we should cut a Kalamity Kills song in Spanish, and the idea just clicked.”
“We found Rosa Rodriguez in Nashville, a Honduran native and a phenomenal singer in her own right. She came in and worked with me phonetically to get the vocal track right, and she also sang the female vocal lines so the song would stay true to the English recording of ‘These Days Are Evil.’ I’m really excited to put this out and hopefully connect with everyone who loves rock en español.”
With “Los Días Son Malos,” KALAMITY KILLS expands the reach of one of its most urgent songs without softening its impact. The Spanish version preserves the weight and intensity of the original while giving the track a new emotional dimension, powered by Rowe’s commanding vocal performance and Rodriguez’s dynamic female vocal lines.
Known for marrying hard rock muscle with sharp lyrical conviction, KALAMITY KILLS continues to carve out a sound that is heavy, melodic, and direct. “Los Días Son Malos” stands as both a tribute to the band’s Latin American listeners and a bold step toward a wider rock en español audience.
About KALAMITY KILLS
KALAMITY KILLS is a hard rock band forged in the heart of East Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2022 by vocalist Jamie Rowe and guitarist/producer Jamey Perrenot, the band emerged from the ashes of a solo project into a fully realized sonic assault, fueled by raw emotion, modern aggression, and a deep respect for rock’s roots. With a sound that fuses the swagger of classic hard rock with the intensity and polish of modern metal, KALAMITY KILLS strikes a rare balance between power and vulnerability.
Best known for their debut self-titled album Kalamity Kills, the band quickly turned heads thanks to high-profile collaborations with members of KORN, 3 DOORS DOWN, LA GUNS, CONQUER DIVIDE, and UNDEROATH. Their music has earned national airplay on SIRIUSXM’s Octane, landed on the Billboard Active Rock charts, and crossed over into viral success without ever chasing trends.
More than just a studio project, KALAMITY KILLS is a growing force with a full live lineup, including bassist/vocalist Julia Lauren Bullock and drummer Rob Bodley. Their songs ranging from explosive anthems to brutally honest ballads tackle themes of faith, failure, hypocrisy, redemption, and the messy beauty of being human.
KALAMITY KILLS is for the outsiders, the misfits, the ones who’ve been burned and are still standing. Loud. Unapologetic. Unforgettable.

Review BLOODHUNTER “Sons of the Abandoned”
Bloodhunter was founded in 2008 and released their self-titled debut album in 2014. The band plays melodic death metal and is clearly inspired by the Gothenburg sound. I was reminded of bands like Arch Enemy, which might have to do with the fact that they also have a female singer. Since 2012, Diva Satanica provides… Continue Reading → -

Rumour Den Part of the Problem Review
Rumour Den Part of the Problem Review
The music created by this duo immerses listeners in an intense atmosphere. The echoing guitars evoke a style reminiscent of The Edge. Meanwhile, the vocals bring to mind artists like Chris Cornell. This music embodies the essence of the 1990s. The song slowly builds in energy, gradually increasing adrenaline levels.

The duo consists of AJ Gilmore, who manages the lyrics and vocals, and Steve Simms, who contributes the guitar and music. Their extensive musical experience is evident throughout the track. The song is impeccably structured, rhythmically and harmonically.
Dynamics are skillfully varied. During the verses, they maintain a controlled intensity before exploding into the chorus. The chorus bursts forth with impressive energy, featuring powerful distortions. Gilmore’s voice drives the chorus forward effectively, while harmonious pads add depth to the overall sonic experience.
Part of the Problem – Sound and Atmosphere
I have noticed influences from bands such as Live and Soundgarden. One particularly striking moment occurs at two minutes and fifty seconds into the track. The rhythmic shift in the bridge is executed brilliantly, showcasing the expertise of these musicians.
As the song progresses, it balances emotional depth with technical skill. Rumour Den has crafted a track that resonates with fans of rock music from that era. The blend of nostalgic influences alongside modern sensibilities is fantastic.
Throughout the song, the interplay between vocals and guitar is superb. Each instrument complements the other, creating a cohesive experience. The energy is palpable and transports listeners back to a different time.
Part of the Problem – Performance and Production
Rumour Den’s single shows a powerful synergy between its members. Gilmore’s writing captures a certain nostalgia, while Simms’ guitar adds a modern twist. Their collaboration is a clear indication of their artistic vision and capability.
The production quality enhances the listening experience. Fading echoes and layered textures provide a rich background that enhances the lead instruments and vocals. The attention to detail highlights their professionalism and dedication to the craft.
This single undoubtedly shows what Rumour Den can do. An exciting glimpse into their intriguing musical limbo.
