DEADSY FRONTMAN IN PSYCH WARD: Cher Files Emergency Conservatorship After Son’s Violent New Hampshire Crime Spree

LOS ANGELES, CA — The battle for the life and legacy of Deadsy frontman Elijah Blue Allman has taken a terrifying turn. Pop icon Cher has filed a renewed, emergency petition to impose a temporary conservatorship over her son, alleging that the 49-year-old musician has completely spiraled into a “dire” state of drug dependency and mental instability following a string of bizarre criminal arrests in New England.
The move comes after a violent and erratic February and March that saw the Deadsy singer landed in a locked psychiatric facility in New Hampshire.
The New Hampshire Rampage: Assaults and Burglary
According to court documents and police reports obtained this week by TMZ, Allman’s descent began on February 27, 2026, at the prestigious St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH. Allman allegedly gained entry to the elite campus by posing as a parent of a prospective student. Once inside, he reportedly became “belligerent” in the dining hall, poked a student with his cane, and made inappropriate comments to female students. He was charged with two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass, and criminal threatening.+3
Just 48 hours after being released on bail, the situation turned even more surreal. On March 1, authorities were called to a private residence in Windham, NH, after a terrified homeowner reported an intruder. Police arrived to find the shattered glass of a back door and Elijah Blue Allman sitting casually on the living room sofa, smoking a cigarette. He was slapped with felony burglary, criminal mischief, and breach of bail.

Cher’s “Dire” Allegations: Drugs, Debt, and Delusions
In a new report via TMZ, Cher’s new filing in Los Angeles County probate court, the singer alleges that her son’s life is at immediate risk. Despite receiving a monthly trust distribution of roughly $10,000 ($120,000 annually) from the estate of his late father, Gregg Allman of The Allman Brothers Band, Cher claims the money is “immediately squandered” on narcotics, high-end hotels, and luxury transportation.
The petition paints a harrowing picture of Allman’s recent life, including:
- Drug Debts: Allegations that Allman had to be bailed out of an $18,000 debt to a drug dealer.
- Property Destruction: Claims he caused over $50,000 in damages to an Airbnb and was ejected from 18 hotels for aggressive behavior.
- Sexual Harassment: One report details Allman being kicked out of a hotel for “aggressively proposing sexual relations” to a female staff member.
- Financial Ruin: A mounting $200,000 tax bill and total inability to manage his own assets.
A Family in Mourning
Even Allman’s sister, Devon Allman, has stepped in to support Cher’s petition, describing his current physical and mental condition as “appalling” and “delusional” following a recent visit. Cher is seeking to have Jason Rubin appointed as the temporary conservator to freeze the trust funds before they can be used to fund a fatal overdose.
This is Cher’s second attempt at a conservatorship; an initial 2023 bid ended in a private settlement in late 2024. However, with the Deadsy frontman currently in a psychiatric ward to restore competency for his criminal trials, the “Queen of Pop” is arguing there is no other choice but legal intervention.

TL;DR
Cher has filed for an emergency conservatorship over Deadsy frontman Elijah Blue Allman following his arrest for assault at a New Hampshire school and a felony burglary where he was found smoking on a stranger’s couch. Cher alleges her son is squandering his Gregg Allman trust fund on drugs and “expensive hotels” while facing a $200,000 tax bill. Allman is currently being held in a psychiatric hospital.+1
