Recording and performing under the name 1-800-MIKEY, Sydney’s Michael Barker (also of Gee Tee and RMFC) is on the poppier end of the vital Australian punk/garage rock scene. He announced In Yun, his new album for Goner Records, a few weeks back with the release of lead single “Me And My Only,” a lo-fi power-pop heater that dares to imagine what the Buzzcocks might sound like with Thin Lizzy riffs.
