The explosive electronic-metalcore duo Wargasm have released their latest single. From the creators of spit comes “Swallow” – a song posed to make you drink, fuck, fight, and love all in the space of 3 minutes and 2 seconds. Born in a dive bar destined for mainstream radio. Soon to be wargasms most played song, Obviously.

Earlier this year, Wargasm released “Get Down” their first single with Hopeless Records, which has quickly become a fan favorite, gaining nearly 500,000 streams in just the last 3 months. Wargasm are no strangers to genre blending and being unbound by the conventional genres and both “Swallow” and “Get Down” embody so many genres that they are easy to love by many.

Wargasm are the riot you wish you started. A hyper-charged collision of metal, industrial, rave, punk and glitch-pop chaos, the duo – Milkie Way and Sam Matlock – have weaponised their genre-less war cry into one of the most volatile and vital voices in modern alternative music.
 
After detonating the underground with early cult favourites like “Spit.”, “Salma Hayek”, “Rage All Over” and “Scratchcard Feeling”, they lit the fuse on 2022’s explosive “EXPLICIT: THE MIXXXTAPE”. The project drew co-signs from the likes of Jonathan Davis (Korn) and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) – the latter even dragging them across arenas on a U.S. tour. Their hybrid sound and anarchic live shows quickly made them the kind of band just as comfortable supporting YUNGBLUD as they were sharing stages with Slipknot or BABYMETAL.
 
In 2023, Wargasm unleashed their official debut album “VENOM” – a savage, seductive and unpredictable middle finger to genre convention, fuelled by a generation’s righteous rage and digital dysfunction. Singles like “Bang Ya Head” (feat. Fred Durst), “Do It So Good”, and “Modern Love” blurred the lines between club floors and mosh pits with unapologetic abandon.

Skid Row is marking 40 years since its formation with a freshly remastered edition of 40 Seasons: The Best Of Skid Row. BMG and Rhino Entertainment will release the reissue Nov. 6 in the U.S. and Dec. 4 everywhere else, on CD and, for the first time, on translucent blue vinyl.

The compilation first surfaced in 1998 and collects 16 tracks spanning the multi-platinum albums Skid Row and Slave To The Grind, plus 1995’s Subhuman Race. The new remaster gives the band’s early catalog a louder, cleaner airing.

Radio staples like “Youth Gone Wild” and “18 And Life” are on board, but the set also pulls from the vault. Demos of “Fire In The Hole” and “Frozen” sit alongside remixes of “Into Another” and “Breakin’ Down,” while “Beat Yourself Blind” appears in a live version recorded at London’s Astoria in 1995.

Skid Row came out of New Jersey and hit the international scene with its 1989 self-titled debut, built on big hooks, street-level attitude and a live show with a fearsome reputation. Two years later, Slave To The Grind took the band down a heavier road and locked in its spot among the defining hard rock acts of the era. Those songs are still cornerstones of the genre for longtime fans and newer listeners alike.

Meanwhile, Skid Row has teamed with the U.S. retailer Sweetwater, a major seller of musical instruments and pro-audio gear, on a worldwide hunt for its next lead singer. Vocalists from any corner of the globe can audition for the chance to front the band.

The job opened up when Erik Grönwall left about two and a half years ago. The 38-year-old Swedish-born singer was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March 2021. When he announced his exit in March 2024, he said it had become increasingly “difficult to prioritize” his health and full recovery as the group’s frontman.

Grönwall was the fourth singer to hold the spot since Sebastian Bach left. Bach fronted the band until he was fired in 1996. Rather than call it quits, the remaining members took a break and briefly played together in Ozone Monday. Skid Row reformed in 1999 and, after some lineup shuffling, settled on bassist Rachel Bolan, guitarists Dave “Snake” Sabo and Scotti Hill, drummer Rob Hammersmith and singer Johnny Solinger.

Solinger was fired by phone in April 2015, hours before the band revealed former TNT vocalist Tony Harnell as his successor. Harnell was gone eight months later, and South African-born, British-based singer ZP Theart stepped in. Theart had previously fronted DragonForce, Tank and I Am I. He was let go in February 2022, and Grönwall, formerly of the Swedish hard rock band H.E.A.T., took over.

Jane Remover doesn’t get tired. That’s the only explanation. The experimental pop auteur maintains a crazy schedule — touring, playing festivals, and cranking out new music under tons of different alter-egos. Fresh off the release of their new LP An Ending In Itself, today the iconic alternative rock band Sleeping With Sirens is taking a trip down memory lane and releasing a reprise of “I’m Coming Home (Big Gulps).”

This was the first song ever written by Sleeping With Sirens and the first video ever posted to the band’s YouTube channel in 2009. A grainy but inspired performance, filmed in one take on a laptop computer in 2009, the song found new life in 2026 when dedicated fans pushed “Big Gulps” to spontaneous virality on TikTok. In response to the engagement online, Kellin Quinn returned to the studio to rerecord “Big Gulps”, this time in a proper studio making this the first professional recording of the track.

“”Big Gulps” was the very first Sleeping With Sirens song ever written, so it’s pretty amazing to see our fans digging through our old content on YouTube and watching it take off on TikTok,” shares Kellin Quinn. “That said, the original recording was literally recorded on a MacBook back in 2009. So, I wanted to get back into the studio and properly rerecord a new acoustic version of the song. Thank you for being such incredible fans for so long and we hope you enjoy this new version of “Big Gulps””.

Sleeping With Sirens’ fall headlining tour kicks off after their appearance at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA on October 3rd. Rain City Drive and Shyeye will be supporting them on this run, visiting cities across the U.S. and Canada before their final performance at Vans Warped Tour Orlando on November 14th. Following the US tour Sleeping With Sirens heads to Latin America in December of this year, and then finally a Europe & UK headliner in February-March of 2027.

Earlier this year, the band released their highly anticipated eighth studio album An Ending In Itself with Rise Records which debuted in Billboard’s Top 20 Hard Rock charts the first week. Produced by Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive, Movements), the new record represents both a homecoming and a reckoning for the band as they revive the restless spirit of their classic sound with the nuanced experience of recent years.

After fifteen years, seven studio albums, one EP, one live album and thousands of shows, the band has built an undeniable connection with their audience consistently drawing devoted fans and delivering electrifying performances that showcase their distinctly unique path through modern alternative rock.
