Following the release of lead single Dead Inside Of Me last month, Florida metalcore greats Trivium have confirmed details of their long-awaited 11th album.

Crown In The Grave, the follow-up to last year’s Struck Dead EP and the band’s first full-length since 2021’s In The Court Of The Dragon, comes out on November 20. Preorders are now live; the tracklisting and artwork can be seen below.

The title track has been released accompanied by a music video inspired by Japanese cinema of the 50s through the 70s. Watch below.

Longtime bassist Paolo Gregoletto comments: “Crown In The Grave is our 11th record, and when you get this far into a career, it’s easy to rest on what you’ve already done – or to reinvent yourself just for the sake of it. With this record, we wanted to find the space between those two things: take everything we’ve learned and everything that makes Trivium what it is, but present it in ways we hadn’t before.”

He adds: “We also wanted the record to exist within its own world. That began with the title track, inspired by [Japanese director] Akira Kurosawa’s Throne Of Blood, and led us deeper into Japanese horror and cinema from the 50s, 60s and 70s. That influence grew into this darker, ghostly atmosphere that became a set of guardrails for the music, lyrics, artwork and overall identity of the record.”

Crown In The Grave will mark Trivium’s first album with new drummer Alex Rudinger (ex-Whitechapel), who replaced Alex Bent last year. It will also be their first full-length album recorded at The Hangar, their self-built studio and rehearsal space in their hometown of Orlando.

Trivium will promote Crown In The Grave on a North American tour with In Flames. Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy and Frozen Soul will support. The shows kick off on November 5 at Jannus Live in St Petersburg, Florida, and conclude on December 19 at the Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In the New Year, Trivium and In Flames will reunite for a European tour, with Paleface Swiss and Vola opening. See dates below.

This is going to be something special. In a few weeks, Turnstile will play a free public outdoor show on the National Lawn in Washington, DC. The performance goes down at 3 p.m. on Oct. 24. While there’s no admission fee, the event will still be a benefit, with Human Concern International, the charitable organization hosting the gig, raising funds for humanitarian efforts in Palestine, Sudan, and Lebanon. New single “What Sage Could Not Cleanse” out today, new studio album comes in November

Vesperian is pleased to welcome THE MOSAIC WINDOW, the Black Metal project of Andrew Steven Brown, to the roster.

On the band’s next album, Answered Prayers – out November 13, 2026 – Brown pulls back from the more polished, prog-tinged death/black hybrid of 2024′s Hemasanctum and returns to the band’s original core: first and second wave black metal, filtered through atmospheric rasps of despair and phantasmal, buried death growls. Across ten tracks, its nihilistic concept unfolds – humanity erased retroactively, centuries before the Industrial Revolution, as the only cure for a poisoned world.

Alongside the announcement, the band share the album’s first single, What Sage Could Not Cleanse. An older composition, it anchors Answered Prayers‘ back-to-roots direction: raw, stripped of any polish, a statement of intent – no ritual can purify what’s already beyond saving.

HYPHEN has revealed his next big step with the announcement of a new EP called ‘Here To Stay’ arriving next month.

The EP will drop on November 20.

HYPHEN had this to say about what the release represents for him:

“Here To Stay is an EP about survival. My father surviving a car crash. Humans surviving political crisis. Immigrants surviving racism. Me surviving suicide. The world is undeniably dark. But there’s light everywhere. Humans’ adaptability and resilience is unquestionable. I hope the EP is something people can hold onto when they feel hopeless. I hope it gives focus to the rage we feel at the parasitic richest among us who would burn the world instead of confronting the abyss within them. ‘I used to think I was a human experiencing the universe, now I think I’m the universe experiencing a human.’ We are all part of the same fabric, the music is a reminder of that. I hope you find comfort in it.”

It will feature previously shared tracks ‘SAID WHAT I SAID’, ‘HYDRA’ and ‘Go Back’ as well as three more currently unheard songs.

I love it when I hear a song that fits into absolutely no known genre rubric and I have to invent some new combination of words to describe it. For instance, if I told you that the London trio Ebbb’s new single “Public” is dreamy chamber-rage, would that even mean anything to you? Do you think that’ll catch on?
