Novacaine Festival Announce Night Thieves As Final Act

Novacaine Festival has officially unveiled the final act for its 2026 edition, confirming the return of fan-favourites Night Thieves.

Following weeks of social media teasers over a mystery slot on the festival poster, the modern rock outfit joins headliners As Everything Unfolds alongside TropicGold, TheCityIsOurs, Hacktivist, and more at Corporation, Sheffield on Saturday 28th November 2026.

Night Thieves’ return follows a standout performance at Novacaine’s inaugural 2025 event, where post-festival attendee polling placed them among the Top 3 highest-rated acts of the weekend alongside DACARA and Reanimate. Riding high off the release of their debut album METAXIS, the band returns to Sheffield by popular demand.

Novacaine Festival Promoter Scott O’Shea commented:

“Last year, I booked Night Thieves because their debut EP single ‘Polarity’ absolutely blew my mind, and I knew we had to get them for our 2025 debut. When we witnessed them live, the atmosphere was insane. The crowd didn’t stop moving, and neither did the band.

“This year, the band released their debut album METAXIS, which is once again filled with absolute belters. I think we’re in for an absolute treat. This is the final band to be announced, and honestly, this line-up is unbelievable. What I thought we’d be able to organize in five years is happening in year two, and that simply wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support from our attendees and Corporation.”

Since launching in 2025, Novacaine Festival has established itself as a prime destination for UK alternative music discovery, bringing together premier underground acts and tomorrow’s prospective headliners under one roof.

Disclosure are an English electronic music duo formed by brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence. Raised in Reigate, Surrey, the brothers began releasing music while still in their teens, developing a sound that drew from UK garage, house, two-step, deep house, disco, and contemporary R&B. Forbidden will tour this fall without drummer Chris Kontos and bassist Matt Camacho, who are both unable to participate in the trek. The bay area thrash metal band has since confirmed touring replacements for both musicians. The trek will support Forbidden’s self-titled comeback album, Forbidden, which is scheduled for release on October 23rd.

The Columbus country-rocker Lydia Loveless released their last album Nothing’s Gonna Stand In My Way Again in 2023. Last year Loveless shared a series of one-off writing-challenge tracks on Bandcamp, including a very good song called “Accolades.” They’ve since taken down most of those Bandcamp tracks, “Accolades” included. Next month, Loveless will release a brand new EP that’s called Accolades, and it’s lead single is a brand-new version of the title track.

Chad Gilbert, guitarist, songwriter, and producer, has died at the age of 45. Gilbert passed away on September 20 following a four-year-long battle with cancer.
