  • Let Love Remain is Adorn’s Album Out Now

    Adorn Let Love Remain Review

Adorn introduce Let Love Remain with the title track, and the mood is immediately intriguing. The song unfolds as a minimalist ballad built around piano, voice, and subtle effects. At first, it does not reveal exactly where the band intends to go. However, that restraint works in its favor, creating a sense of anticipation that draws the listener in.

Let Love Remain is Adorn's Album Out Now

You quickly sense that you are listening to performers who understand songwriting and emotional pacing. The atmosphere feels intimate yet open-ended, leaving space for interpretation while maintaining a clear emotional direction.

A Balance Between Power and Elegance

With The Brave and Bled Defiant, the band shift the landscape. The rock side of their identity emerges with strength, and the sound becomes more direct. Even so, the refinement in chord progression remains intact. The guitars carry weight without falling into predictable patterns, blending force and elegance in a way that defines much of the album.

Voyeur stands out as one of the most evocative tracks. Here, Adorn explore a dystopian atmosphere that feels cinematic. The introduction builds tension before the arrangement expands, demonstrating strong control over dynamics. The progression feels natural, allowing the track to evolve rather than explode.

    A Cohesive Narrative

The End Is Not Yet acts as a transitional moment. A radio-toned voice introduces an atmospheric pause, reinforcing the idea that this album is more than a collection of songs. It feels structured, almost like a narrative unfolding in chapters.

With Zero Hour, the energy rises again. The rhythm becomes powerful and intricate, carrying a sense of urgency. Some moments echo Soundgarden, though reinterpreted through a more modern lens. The harmonic shifts keep the track alive and engaging.

    A Cinematic Ending

Shep closes the album on a cinematic note. The piano introduction evokes a dark horizon, almost like a scene from a dystopian film. The track builds gradually, allowing the vocalist to explore a wide expressive range. It feels like a fitting conclusion to a focused and ambitious record.

Adorn present a clear artistic vision with Let Love Remain. The album is cohesive, well-constructed, and emotionally engaging. It is a work that deserves attention for its musical depth and its narrative consistency.

    Ambitious!

  • Full Album Stream: Evil Warriors – “Evil Warriors”

Germany’s Evil Warriors are here to set the soul of the world ablaze with their new self-titled album. Evil Warriors boasts a clear and powerful sound, but also displays a underlying sense of foreboding that still renders it wild and unpredictable. According to the band, the album is a product of many years of work in their rehearsal space — and uses live recordings as the basis, meaning they took the raw performances in their lair and layered everything on top. This gives the record spontaneous feel that can sometimes get lost in the maze of click-tracks and studio trickery.

The album’s five tracks recall elements of bands like Kampfar, Watain, Antaeus, and 1349, while still presenting the band as its own singular entity — as Evil Warriors show a mastery of weaving different moods and tempos together to make for a very compelling experience.

What follows therefore is a scorching blend of black metal sounds, which Decibel is very happy to present in full streaming glory. Evil Warriors will be officially released on April 13 via Into Endless Chaos.

  • Evanescence Announce New Album ‘Sanctuary’

Evanescence have announced the details of their new full-length album, serving as the follow-up to 2021’s ‘The Bitter Truth’.

The album is set to be titled ‘Sanctuary’ will be released on June 05.

Vocalist Amy Lee had this to say about the making of the record, stating, “This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it. It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up, or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself now! I’ve been completely obsessed. I’m dying for the fans to hear this.”
