    BELPHEGOR Announces “Praise The Beast” European Tour 2026 With KRISIUN And ASAGRAUM

    Austrian blackened death metal titans Belphegor have officially announced their highly anticipated “Praise The Beast” European Tour 2026, set to bring a wave of blasphemous intensity across the continent this fall.
    The extensive trek begins September 29 in Essen, Germany, and will carve a destructive path through Belgium, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Central Europe, Poland, and the United Kingdom before concluding with a final ritualistic performance on October 18 at London’s legendary The Underworld.
    Joining BELPHEGOR on the campaign are Brazilian death metal veterans Krisiun and Dutch black metal force Asagraum. Organizers have also confirmed that a fourth band will be announced in the coming months.
    The tour arrives as BELPHEGOR continue building momentum toward their forthcoming thirteenth studio album. Following the critical success of 2022’s The Devils , the band appears poised to push even deeper into the dark and ritualistic territory that has defined their career for more than three decades.
    Founded in 1993 by vocalist and guitarist Helmuth Lehner, BELPHEGOR have become one of extreme metal’s most enduring and uncompromising acts. Their unique fusion of black metal atmosphere and death metal brutality has earned them a devoted global following and appearances at major festivals including Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, Bloodstock Open Air, and Sweden Rock Festival.
    Throughout their career, BELPHEGOR have consistently evolved their sound while maintaining the savage intensity that first put them on the map with releases such as The Last Supper , Blutsabbath , and Necrodaemon Terrorsathan . Their most recent album, The Devils , showcased the band’s ability to blend relentless aggression with intricate compositions, ritualistic atmospheres, and multilingual lyrical themes.
    The record also helped secure the band the 2023 Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the Hard & Heavy category, marking a significant milestone for one of Austria’s most internationally recognized extreme metal exports.
    As anticipation grows for new material, the upcoming tour offers fans a chance to witness BELPHEGOR’s infamous live ceremonies firsthand.   • HAKEN Stream New Single “Bleeding Sky”; Announce Headlining European Tour

    Haken recently returned with their first new music in 3 years, and they continue with another brand new track titled “Bleeding Sky”. As with “In A Fever Dream”, this new track was co-produced and mixed by George Lever (Loathe, Sleep Token), crafting some of the most emotionally direct material of the band’s career so far. On this song, the band recruited Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood (Periphery) to play bass.

  • Video Premiere: Without Mercy Turn the Lens on Themselves on “Glass”

    I’ve always been a sucker for promo videos showing bands on the road and doing shit like heading to the club, loading in, setting up for a show and all the behind the scenes shenanigans and mugging for the camera that takes place during the course of an empty venue being transformed into a sweaty stage. Not to mention scenes from the resulting show that follow all the preliminary work. Hailing from about an hour east of Vancouver comes Without Mercy with their latest EP, Infinite Loss, in tow. The three-tracker is the studio recording follow up to their 2020 second full-length, Seismic and was recorded with John Douglass in Atlanta, 4400 kilometres from their home in picturesque Abbotsford, BC home.

    The thunderous chug (inspired by the likes of Meshuggah and Decapitated) of Infinite Loss has been out and available for about a month now and today we’re pleased as punch to present the latest single “Glass” and its video which compiles scenes from their trip to record in Hotlanta. Says guitarist DJ Temple: “This was the first time we left home to make a record. We crossed borders, uprooted our routines and committed fully to the process by living inside it for ten days. There was no comfort, no distance and no way to step away. It forced us to be present with each other and with the music in a way we had never experienced before. That isolation mattered. Being away from everything familiar stripped the process down to what was essential and made the work unavoidable.” About the track in question, he went on to say, “The concept of ‘Glass’ hits hard with the themes of translation and perception being different from each person. It was through that lens that we wanted to capture the recording process. The footage is from all of us and various points and through the lens of each individual experience.”
