The next chapter for In This Moment has officially begun.
The Grammy Award nominated, multi-platinum heavy metal powerhouse has announced its highly anticipated ninth studio album, WITCH , set for release on August 28 via Better Noise Music. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the crushing new single “Crawl,” offering fans their first full glimpse into the dark and emotionally charged world of the upcoming record.
Driven by a thunderous guitar riff, cinematic atmosphere, and the unmistakable vocal performance of frontwoman Maria Brink , “Crawl” delivers the theatrical intensity that has made In This Moment one of modern metal’s most recognizable acts. The track explores themes of justice, abuse of power, and resilience.
Speaking about the song, Brink explained:
“‘Crawl’ is a reckoning, a reflection that those who dominate and cause pain will ultimately reap what they sow. As above, so below. The fall is inevitable. Bearing witness to the harm they inflict, the song declares that those who once stood tall will be brought to their knees.”
Guitarist and co-founder Chris Howorth added that the song reflects the ongoing cycle of oppression throughout history while encouraging listeners to stand up against those who abuse their power.
A New Era Begins With WITCH
According to Brink, WITCH represents one of the band’s most personal and transformative releases to date.
” WITCH is my declaration of inner transformation. It’s about embracing the duality within, taking pain, persecution, and struggle, and alchemizing them into strength and power. The album reflects both ancient trials and my own journey, where being a ‘witch’ means being a creator, connected to the universe, manifesting my own reality.”
The 11-track album promises to showcase every side of In This Moment, balancing crushing heaviness with haunting melodies and introspective songwriting.

Fall Tour Includes Taste Of Chaos
Following the album’s release, In This Moment will hit the road this fall for the Taste Of Chaos Tour , joined by Hollywood Undead , I See Stars , VANA , and Melrose Avenue . The run follows appearances at major events including Louder Than Life and additional performances alongside Nothing More .
The extensive North American tour stretches from late September through October, bringing the band’s signature theatrical live production to audiences across the United States.
