Denzel Curry is on an absolute fucking roll right now. • Blast Worship: Trucido

    Where they from?
Dallas, TX. I’ve been watching a lot of figure skating recently as part of the Winter Olympics. I find it very technically impressive and sensual but am perplexed by some of the song choices they use. I personally think a quad Axle would hit so much harder if it was timed to the breakdown of a Pig Destroyer song rather than Madonna or Celine Deon. Just my two cents, Back to you, Jim.

    Why the hype?
Death, taxes and Bryan Fajardo bands producing grind excellence, these are the absolute certainties in life. The drumming here is absolutely on-point as usual but what really stands out to me is the burly guitar work. Every riff here is high-key THICC af and the production is utterly stellar. Every song is a chromatic roller coaster to Hell, collapsing in on itself as it rampages through your earholes. Perfect music to skate to, in my opinion.

    Latest release?
Epiphanic Delusions of a Spiritual Warfare, self-released. I also want to point out that this is the first time in my grindcore listening career that I can say the pitch-shifted vocals feel ‘tasteful,’ complimenting the overall chaos rather than supplanting it. Really every element here is so perfectly executed that it’s basically a shoo-in for the year end best of list. My heart will go on.

  • Iron Maiden’s EddFest Lineup Announced, Will Feature The Darkness, QOTSA, and More

    ironmaiden_tourannounce

A two-day festival called EddFest taking place this July in Knebworth, England is being billed as the ultimate Iron Maiden fan experience and new details have emerged about what that sort of thing entails. Complete with themed zones, bars, live music across two stages, and on-site camping options, this sounds like a slightly smaller Download or Bloodstock catered to Maiden devotees.

According to this morning’s announcement, the thing that should be a huge draw for Iron Maiden fans is the ‘Infinite Dreams Museum Experience’. According to organizers, this walk-through display will feature various stage pieces and memorabilia from the band’s more than 50 years of experience. This is a unique opportunity for fans to get up close and personal to some of the items they’ve only seen from afar.

Additionally, the festival will feature a special section called Maidenville, which will serve as a sort of hub. In it will be an expanded Eddie’s Dive Bar, the second stage, an Unfair Funfair complete with Maiden and Eddie themed games and rides. There’ll be additional attractions there too.

Fans looking to camp at the groups will get early access to the grounds on Friday, including first entry for the museum experience.

Friday’s programming centers around the Maidenville second stage, which will feature bands like:

    • Stray
    • Maiden United
    • Airforce
    • Tony Moore’s Awake
    • Hair Metal Glamageddon

Saturday then opens the main area of the fest, which expands even more options to fans. The main stage then includes performances by the following bands:

    • The Almighty
    • Airbourne
    • The Hu
    • The Darkness
    • Iron Maiden

Manager Rod Smallwood said the fest will be an exciting thing for fans of all ages.

“After the monumental shows in the UK last year, we knew that if we were going to play the UK in 2026, it had to be very different. So we chose Knebworth Park as it gives us the space required – which is just not available in stadiums – to put together something groundbreaking for our fans by creating a Maiden World for them. We are excited to now reveal the details of this one-off event to celebrate the band’s 50-year career, which we are now calling EddFest, because, as everyone knows, Eddie is the true star of the show!

“We also know Maiden fans are basically a huge gang, and we want to give them a weekend to remember at Knebworth. For the last couple of tours we have been arranging the Eddie Dive Bars for our fans, both pre- and post-show. Some of these took over the entire centres of towns with thousands of fans gathered there enjoying the fun, the music, and each other’s company. So EddFest is going to expand on that concept in a huge variety of ways, to create a truly unmissable Maiden World over the whole weekend!

“There will be a whole host of great music, great beer (of course!), lots of exciting and varied fun things to do, great souvenirs and merch, some unique and fantastic photo opportunities to create unbeatable Maiden memories, and of course, the true camaraderie that comes from being a Maiden fan.”

If you want to find out more, head over to the EddFest website to get your spot at the weekend festivities.

  • Iron Maiden Reveals Full Eddfest Details For Historic 50th Anniversary Weekend At Knebworth Park

    iron-maiden-2026

What Is Iron Maiden’s Eddfest Weekend At Knebworth?

Eddfest is a two-day, fully themed Iron Maiden festival experience built around the band’s July 11, 2026 performance at Knebworth Park, celebrating their 50th anniversary.

    TL;DR:

Iron Maiden’s only U.K. show of 2026 just became something far bigger.
Eddfest will deliver 48 hours of live music, Eddie-themed experiences, and a once-in-a-lifetime museum exhibition.
It’s also the band’s last confirmed U.K. appearance until at least 2028.

A Maiden Show That Refused To Be “Just A Show”

When Iron Maiden first announced their sole U.K. date for 2026 — July 11 at Knebworth Park — the promise was bold: create as much of a “Maiden world” as possible. Now, fans finally know what that actually means.

Eddfest isn’t simply a concert with extra decorations. It’s a full-scale transformation of Knebworth into an immersive Maiden universe designed around Eddie, the mythology, and the culture that has defined five decades of heavy metal dominance.

And yes — it looks massive.

Inside Eddfest: The Experiences That Change Everything

    The Infinite Dreams Museum Experience

At the heart of Eddfest sits the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience, a walk-through exhibition of stage props, artifacts, and rarely seen relics inspired by the Infinite Dreams book.

This isn’t a merch display. It’s an unprecedented opportunity to view authentic Maiden history up close — the kind of access normally reserved for archives, not festival grounds.

For long-time fans, this alone borders on pilgrimage territory.

Loaded Radio Recommends – Iron Maiden Albums Ranked From Worst to Best: The Definitive 17-Album Verdict

    Welcome To Maidenville

Maidenville functions as the central hub of the weekend, and it’s pure Eddie chaos:

    • The greatest Eddie’s Dive Bar yet
    • A dedicated second stage
    • The Unfair Funfair (rides + Eddie-themed games)
    • Eddie’s Emporium
    • Themed bars and interactive areas

Maiden aren’t adding attractions — they’re building an environment.

Friday: Early Access And Deep Cuts

Weekend campers entering from 2 p.m. Friday receive early access to select areas, including first entry into the museum experience.

But Friday night belongs to the Maidenville stage.

    Friday Night Lineup

    Full sets from:

    • Stray
    • Maiden United
    • Airforce
    • Tony Moore’s Awake
    • Hair Metal Glamageddon

This is a carefully curated mix of artists tied to Maiden’s extended legacy — some obvious, some beautifully obscure.

Exactly the kind of deep fan-service Maiden excels at.

    Saturday: The Main Arena Awakens

Saturday opens the Main Arena and unleashes the full festival energy.

    Arena Highlights

    • Eddie’s Extended Emporium
    • Trooper VIP Area
    • Interactive fan experiences

    Then comes the live assault.

    Saturday Main Stage Lineup

    The Almighty

Back and “better than ever,” the British rock veterans kick things off with raw authority.

    Airbourne

Australia’s high-voltage rock machine brings pure adrenaline — a natural fit for Knebworth’s scale.

    The Hu

Mongolian metal thunder rolling across historic festival grounds? That’s a moment.

    The Darkness

A barnstorming, high-drama set as the evening peaks.

Iron Maiden – Run For Your Lives

The culmination: Iron Maiden delivering their “Run For Your Lives” performance inside the fully realized Maiden world.

Not just a headline slot. A historic, communal spectacle.

    Rod Smallwood Explains The Vision

Manager Rod Smallwood made the reasoning crystal clear:

Knebworth was chosen specifically because stadiums simply couldn’t accommodate the scale of what Maiden envisioned.

Eddfest expands on the wildly successful Eddie’s Dive Bar concept — previously turning entire city centers into Maiden celebrations — and amplifies it into a weekend-long destination event.

    The mission?

    Create memories that feel mythic.

Why This Weekend Carries Serious Weight

    This isn’t just Maiden’s only U.K. show of 2026.

It’s their last confirmed U.K. appearance until at least 2028.

For fans debating attendance, that detail alone shifts the equation from “maybe” to “this might actually matter.”

    Because it does.

    • The largest Eddie’s Dive Bar ever
    • The museum exhibition
    • A Maiden-themed funfair
    • Camping, glamping, and motorhome options
    • A specially created fan “village”
