  • AN NCS PREMIERE: RIVERFLAME — “WHERE DRAGONS ONCE RULED”

(written by Islander) “Riverflame were created in 2024 by members of Hail Spirit Noir, Ponte Del Diavolo, and OWLS.” That short announcement got my attention just as effectively as if it had been a meteor plowing into the house next door. • Dark Divine Share Decadent New Track ‘Half Past Dead (Unbury Me)’

Dead Divine has shared a new taste of their upcoming album ‘Undead Melody’, and it dives deeper into their fantastically pitch-black universe.

Titled ‘Half Past Dead (Unbury Me)’, it’s half ballad and half metalcore rager, a love song and death song in the same breath. Pushing the ante with both their melodic and malignant tendencies, it’s an absolute behemoth of a tune, one that shows how far into the abyss the band are willing to venture.

Vocalist Anthony Martinez had this to say about the track, explaining, “Half Past Dead’ is a song about the concept of fleeting time. There are times we put ourselves in the very places that keep us from truly living. We sit and rot away while life passes us by. This song is meant to say that while we may feel past the point of no return, as long as we still bleed, we are still of the living.”

‘Undead Melody’ is set for release on May 19 via Thriller Records.

Here’s how the artwork for the record is looking:
