The trailer for the concert film Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning has been released.

The feature-length flick – which will recap Black Sabbath’s blockbuster reunion show at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, 2025, shortly before frontman Ozzy Osbourne’s death – is set to hit cinemas on October 28. Tickets are now available. Watch the trailer below.

The list of songs performed during the all-day event has also been released, and it can be seen in its entirety below.

As well as a headlining Black Sabbath set – which marked the heavy metal pioneers’ first time onstage since 2017, and their first performance to feature all four founding members since 2005 – and a set by Ozzy’s solo band, Back To The Beginning featured short slots from Metallica, Tool, Guns N’ Roses, Gojira and many others, who performed both original material and Sabbath and Ozzy covers.

There were also supergroups featuring Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Tobias Forge, Yungblud, Sleep Token’s II and many others, who performed renditions of Sabbath and Ozzy hits. The cover of Changes by Yungblud, II, Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman and Nuno Bettencourt, which won the Best Rock Performance trophy at the 68th Grammy Award in February, will be among the songs making the cut.

Announced in early 2025, Back To The Beginning was put together as Ozzy’s final bow, following his retirement from touring in 2023 due to Parkinson’s disease and other health issues. The show was held a short distance from where the singer grew up in Aston, with proceeds going to local charities Cure Parkinson’s, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and Acorns Children’s Hospice.

The show was Sabbath’s first since the end of their farewell tour, The End, in 2017. Although Ozzy, guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler took part in that tour, founding drummer Bill Ward didn’t, due to a contractual dispute ahead of the band’s 2012 reunion and the recording of the band’s final album, 2013’s 13.

The 44,000 tickets to Back To The Beginning quickly sold out upon release, and a livestream of the event was watched by more than five million people. An estimated $11 million US (£8,323,425) was raised for charity.

Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, just over two weeks after Back To The Beginning, following a heart attack at his Buckinghamshire home aged 76. Geezer Butler wrote in trouble after the news broke: “Four kids from Aston – who’d have thought, eh? So glad we got to do it one last time, back in Aston. Love you.”

Villa Park will be the site of the first edition of Ozzfest, the festival co-founded by Ozzy and his wife/manager Sharon in 1996, since 2018 next year. A US edition of the festival is also in the works.

For the past few years, the people at Run For Cover Records have worked together to put on Something In The Way, an extremely cool annual Boston festival that brings together different strains of cool-as-hell guitar music. This year’s edition, for instance, had Sunny Day Real Estate and Explosions In The Sky as headliners. For next year’s fest, the planners of Something In The Way have outdone themselves, putting together a really great lineup.

Australia’s genre-bending Windwaker — vocalist Liam Guinane, guitarist Justin Keurntjes, bassist Indey Salvestro, drummer Chris Lalic, and synths/samples specialist Connor Robins — will unleash their third album, smile, you’re on camera. on October 23 through Fearless Records.

“dna” explores one’s internal struggle with self-perspective and sincerity in an increasingly social media-driven world, which is an existential battle many of us can relate to. It’s all wrapped up in an alt rock package. It’s laced with synths, hip-hop-inspired verses, and never scrimps on the hard-hitting riffage and bloodcurdling screams. The Aussie band remains committed to erasing genre parameters and flipping off sonic boundaries. The result is music distinct as, well, actual deoxyribonucleic acid.

“‘dna’ explores a deeply internal struggle with identity, self-worth, and the feeling of being trapped by one’s own nature,” the band offers. “The song reflects on emotional instability and the pressure of living up to expectations, while battling impulses, ego, and the fear of never truly changing. There’s a recurring tension between wanting growth and feeling stuck in destructive patterns, as if these flaws are hardwired into their ‘DNA.’ Another key theme here which is explored over the album is authenticity. References to ‘doing it for the likes’ and people ‘switching sides’ highlights disillusionment with superficial validation and fake personas, while the protagonist in this song tries to strip away ego and confront their true self.”

As a whole, smile, you’re on camera. ruminates on the weight of time and growth, struggles and sacrifice for the better life and authenticity in spite of a world full of superficial and sinister characters and bad actors. It’s a collection of catchy, energetic and heartfelt songs. The album is highly introspective and does not follow a linear narrative, instead presenting a series of personal reflections and snapshots that capture the emotional highs and lows of this period. It’s a celebration of how far the band has come and a candid look at the pressure of being seen, leaving listeners with a sense of both resolution and ongoing evolution.

Ultimately, Windwaker‘s music effectively results from a chemical reaction between multiple genres. The band serves as the common denominator on an endlessly rotating carousel of styles, splicing stadium-size hooks, swaggering rhythms, gnashing guitars, and jaw-droppingly dynamic vocals into one unpredictable sound.

The band has constantly pushed the envelope, taking flight into rarified air as an outlier. They already made a hyperspace-size jump musically from Love Language (2022) to Hyperviolence (2024). The latter spawned “Sirens,” which gathered 9 million Spotify streams and counting. Legendary English rock supergroup Asia recently announced that their new studio album, “Indigo”, will be released on November 6, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Today, legendary English rock supergroup ASIA shares “Arcadia,” a new extract from the upcoming studio album.

Geoff Downes states:

“The original idea for ‘Arcadia’ was that it was going to be the title of the third ASIA album, which we then later decided to change to ‘Astra.’ However, the word and concept has always been around us, and there have been many suggestions over the years to write a song about it. So, here we are in 2026, 40 years later, and we’ve finally managed to bring it into being. ‘Arcadia’ is a historical Greek region and is depicted as an idyllic pastoral place free from the outside world. Our song symbolizes a retreat from everyday life, an escape if you like to a quieter place, something that we all need to do from time to time.”

Macklemore has been in the news a lot lately. The onetime pop-rap hitmaker was among the first mainstream figures to protest against Israel’s genocidal campaign in Palestine and to loudly and accurately use the word “genocide” to describe it. Macklemore was booked as an opener on Ed Sheeran’s current stadium tour, but Sheeran dropped him at the behest of stadium owner Robert Kraft. Famously, this led to every other opener on that tour, as well as Sheeran’s own backing band, quitting the tour in solidarity. Sheeran said that he’s “not complicit,” then cried about it onstage. Meanwhile, Macklemore continues to take actual action.
