Still Remains have announced the details of their first full release in 12 years in the form of a fresh new EP.

Titled ‘Spirit Breaker’, it will be released on June 12, as in this week, via Arson Theory. It serves as a follow-up to the band’s 2013 album ‘Ceasing To Breathe’.
Vocalist T. J. Miller had this to say about the release, stating, “For this record we tried to stay true to the sound that our fans have grown to love, but also evolve a bit and add some more modern influences into our sound. We wanted this to sound like an updated version of the classic Still Remains sound, and I think we pulled it off. This is easily the most personal, and emotional record we’ve done from a lyrical standpoint.”
The artwork looks like this:
Whilst the tracklisting is more like this:
1. The Wound And The Weapon (feat. Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord)
2. Spirit Breaker
3. Erase You
4. Eclipse
5. Waste Of Breath
You can hear two songs from the release right now before the full thing drops. There is ‘Erase You’, which embodies soaring melodic tendencies with plenty of caustic and crushing metalcore intensity. As much a pit-spinner as it is a sing-along epic.
You can also hear ‘The Wound and The Weapon’, which features a guest vocal from Guy Kozowyk of the legendary The Red Chord. A breathless, belligerent and bold piece of heavy music that bridges the gap between where the band once was and where they are now in ferocious style.
