In 2022, New York-born Anna Schwab released “4am,” her first song under the moniker sadie. It’s a sleek, low-key bedroom-pop sprawl with a subtle trap beat and Schwab’s gently Auto-Tuned vocals singing about driving around with the windows down, talking to someone about mutual loneliness.
