Progressive rock band LUFEH has released a new music video for “Live The New Today.” The track is taken from the group’s newly released sophomore album, Overwhelmed, which officially arrived on May 29 after being recorded at the historic Sunset Sound studios in Los Angeles, California.

Thematically focused on self-reflection and the process of personal rebirth, the new single shifts between serene atmospheres and heavy, progressive power-metal grooves. The track prominently features a guest performance from vocalist and electric violinist Ginny Luke, culminating in an intricate arrangement that incorporates simultaneous bass, guitar, and violin solos to build the song’s emotional and sonic climax.

Founded by drummer Lufeh Batera alongside long-time collaborators Deio Tambasco on guitar, Duca Tambasco on bass, and keyboardist Gera Penna, the band builds their sound by blending progressive metal with fusion and Brazilian influences. Spanish melodic death metal band SynlakrosS has released a new single and accompanying official music video titled “The Mire Of The Forgotten.” The heavy, emotionally charged track serves as the group’s darkest and most extreme release to date, arriving across all major digital streaming platforms on June 18.

The new single was written as a direct tribute to the victims of the devastating floods that struck Valencia, Spain, on October 29, 2024. Thematically, “The Mire Of The Forgotten” explores intense feelings of grief, rage, and the consequences of indifference, operating as a refusal to let the memories of the victims wash away. The official music video was directed and filmed by vocalist Patricia Pons and bassist Pablo Fuentes.

Operating out of Valencia, SynlakrosS has spent over 15 years blending modern melodic death metal with alternative and metalcore elements. “The Mire Of The Forgotten” marks the band’s return with new material following a difficult period of personal health issues that forced them into an extended hiatus after the 2024 release of their fifth album, Mental Parasites. Swedish metal band ELEINE has released a new single and accompanying visualizer for “We March.” Alongside the new track, the group officially revealed the title of their upcoming fifth studio album, The Water Taste of Blood. This latest release serves as the second preview of the new record, directly following the arrival of their previous single, “Empire Of Lies,” earlier this year.

Musically, the new track is driven by heavy guitar riffing and a strong 1990s metal groove, maintaining the group’s signature blend of aggressive instrumentation and unified vocal hooks. Azerbaijani singer-songwriter Sabina Beyli has released a new single titled “Novocaine.” The alternative pop-rock track was produced by Mike Midura, who recently collaborated with the artist on her previous material.

Ontario metalcore force As Oceans Divide continue their ascent with the announcement of their next single, “World Collapse”. The track marks the third release from the band’s upcoming self‑titled EP, following the momentum of previous singles “White Noise” and “Into The Dying Light.”

The lyric video for “World Collapse”expands the EP’s overarching themes of tension, internal conflict, and emotional weight, concepts visually represented in the EP’s striking artwork: a chained sea serpent wrapped around an anchor, thrashing against a violent ocean backdrop.
