Texas Thrash Metal Veterans Continue Their Comeback as NoLifeTilMetal Records Prepares October 30 Vinyl Release

Texas thrash metal legends Gammacide , clients of Metal Devastation PR, have been featured by BraveWords in a new article spotlighting the upcoming limited-edition vinyl release of their comeback album, Toxic Mercenaries , arriving October 30, 2026, through NoLifeTilMetal Records.
The BraveWords feature covers the album’s upcoming vinyl editions, the band’s return to the metal scene, and the release of their first full-length collection of new material in more than 35 years.
Originally released on CD September 11, 2026, Toxic Mercenaries marks a major milestone for the Texas thrash veterans, who reunited to perform at Hell’s Heroes Festival in Houston in 2025. Following the overwhelming response to their return, the band went on to play an East Coast tour and shows in Mexico before entering the studio in January 2026 to record their first new music since their breakup in 1992.
Featuring eight new tracks, Toxic Mercenaries delivers the aggressive riffs, chaotic lead guitar work, punishing drums, and unmistakable vocals that have defined Gammacide’s sound. Songs including “Overload,” “Sinkhole,” “Predator Or Prey,” and “Soldier of Fear” showcase a band bringing its trademark thrash attack into a new era.
The upcoming vinyl release will be available in a limited-edition toxic neon-green pressing, with an even more limited Blood Moon red-and-black swirl edition available directly through NoLifeTilMetal Records.
The album’s artwork and layout were created by Scott Waters, whose design credits include Mortification, Lizzy Borden, Hades, Patriarchs in Black, and Anger As Art. Toxic Mercenaries was produced by Gammacide vocalist Varnam Ponville alongside David Treadway of DDTstudio Productions.
