Sydney based Rock outfit The Hush have just released their blistering new single called Nothin’ For Free, which premiered exclusively via AAA Backstage.

The band have also announced a run of Australian tour dates to celebrate the release that kicks off tonight at La La La’s in Wollongong.

“Firstly, it’s about ego and status-chasers… the ones who think the world owes them everything. The lyrics were inspired by someone in the scene who wasn’t nice but expected it all on a plate and was super toxic. Secondly, it’s about the grind we’re all living – bills, rising costs and the reminder that nothing comes easy, especially the good stuff.”

The Hush fuse swaggering Southern Rock riffs with a gritty Hard Rock attitude and hook-driven songwriting. Built on Blues-soaked guitars, seductive melodies, and a raw, road-tested sound, the band delivers music that feels classic in spirit but sharp and modern in execution.
