  • Terror Announce New Album Still Suffer: Hear The Title Track

Hardcore bands are supposed to burn out quickly, breakup when they’re just getting going, and then maybe reunite to headline a hardcore festival a decade or two later. When they stick around, they run a serious risk of becoming a goofy, slightly embarrassing legacy band that coasts on past glories. Once in a long while,…

  • Terror Announce New Album ‘Still Suffer’

Terror, one of hardcore’s all-time greats, are back with their 10th full-length album, set to be released on Flatspot Records.

It’s going to be called ‘Still Suffer’ and will drop on April 24. It serves as the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Pain Into Power’.
Produced by Todd Jones of Nails, the record will also feature guest appearances from Mindforce’s Jay Peta, God’s Hate’s Brody King and King Nine’s Dan Seely. Hot Water Music’s Chuck Ragan also makes an appearance on a song, which he co-produced with New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert.

    The artwork looks like this:

And the tracklisting is like this:

    1. ERASE YOU FROM MY WORLD
    2. STILL SUFFER
    3. PROMISED ONLY LIES
    4. DESTRUCTION OF MY SOUL
    5. FEAR THE PANIC
    6. DEATH OF HOPE
    7. BEAUTY IN THE LOSSES
    8. A DEEPER STRUGGLE
    9. TO HURT THE MOST
    10. DECONSTRUCT IT

The band have also shared the title track, and it is as quintessential as it gets. Vulnerable, volatile and poetically vicious, it is as much of a mosh anthem as it is an admittance of struggle, one of the hardest things to vocalise. When delivered by Scott Vogel, these words are as cathartic as they are concrete-coated, and when matched with an instrumental as tectonic as this, it’s an instant classic.

    Get stuck in.

The band will be heading out on a US tour alongside Mongrel and Combust. Here’s how the dates are looking.
