Mimi Barks is back with the details of a new EP, the follow-up to her 2024 debut album ‘THIS IS DOOM TRAP’.

Titled ‘Dreamstate Of Fear’, it will be released on July 24 and features previously released track ‘Dreamstate Of Hell’.
The EP will also include the freshly dropped ‘Jericho’, which takes us on a dark detour further into Mimi Barks’ self-defined ‘doom trap’ sound.
On the track, she’s shared:
“What looks like collapse is really release, an undoing of everything that was never truly mine. There’s no real enemy unless you choose to become one to yourself. The shift happens when the self remembers itself, when the energy turns inward and transforms. The old world dissolves making space for something unknown. That’s where freedom begins. What will you choose? Heaven or Hell?”
Released alongside a gnarly video filmed in Bordeaux and central Paris, check it out below.

Five Finger Death Punch have announced the UK and European leg of their 20th Anniversary World Tour, set for early 2027. The Heavy Metal giants will be joined by Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within for what promises to be one of the biggest Metal tours of the year. FFDP are currently recording their 10th studio album, which will be released this year. Expect the first new single this month.
Kicking off in Manchester on 16 January 2027, the tour will hit 21 cities before concluding in Helsinki on 22 February 2027. The run celebrates two decades since the band’s formation and their rise to global arena headliners.
The band are currently recording their tenth studio album, due later this year, with a new single expected imminently. Fans can expect a setlist blending new material with classic hits that have defined their career.
Guitarist Zoltan Bathory said the tour represents both a celebration and a statement of the band’s continued growth and global reach. “We built this band like a battleship,” Bathory said. “Twenty years of everything life could throw at us, and we’re not just still here, we’re still growing. New fans discovering us every day, the fanbase bigger now than it’s ever been.
“This World Tour is the celebration that milestone deserves. First leg is America in 2026, then Europe in 2027, and we’re not stopping there! South America, Australia, Asia are all in the talks.
“This is going to be a big two or three years for Five Finger Death Punch, and we’re just getting started.”
Lamb Of God bring their trademark intensity and legacy as one of modern Metal’s most respected acts, while Bleed From Within continue their ascent as one of the UK’s most exciting Heavy bands.

Devin Townsend has announced his Metamorphosis solo UK and European tour for 2026, marking his return to the stage following a previously declared hiatus. The tour supports his upcoming album The Moth, released on 29 May, and will see Townsend perform across 23 dates in 10 countries.
Known for his boundary-pushing approach to Heavy Metal and progressive music, Townsend will deliver an intimate and unpredictable solo performance, drawing from his extensive catalogue including Strapping Young Lad, Devin Townsend Project and more.
Townsend describes The Moth as the culmination of his musical journey, representing both personal evolution and artistic reflection.
“The Moth feels like the culmination of all my musical experiences and my journey in life so far,” Devin Townsend said. “And as The Moth spreads its wings, I’m also aware of how much I’ve changed, and consequently how much remains to be expressed.
“The making of this album took me on quite a journey of self-exploration. This opportunity to get out there, tell my story with this renewed clarity, celebrate my entire anthology of music across a variety of projects (and the stories behind them), offers an opportunity to connect with the audience who made this all happen and do what I love in the process: Play music.
“I’ve been told The Moth seems like my life’s work and I would agree, though it was a life that no longer exists. Moving into this new life is the path now, and these events offer an introduction to that.”
Fans can expect varied setlists, storytelling and unique performances throughout the run, offering a rare and unfiltered live experience.
Devin Townsend’s latest studio album, The Moth, is out worldwide on 29 May 2026 via Inside Out Music (Sony Music). Pre-orders are available from dvn.lnk.to/TheMoth.
Tickets for the Metamorphosis Solo UK & European Tour 2026 are on general sale on 8 May 2026 at 10 am BST. For more details, visit www.hevydevy.com.

DEVIN TOWNSEND announces METAMORPHOSIS Solo UK & European Tour 2026
Forging a career over four decades in countless genres, Devin Townsend has reached cult status in the progressive-metal world for his polymathic talent and continual pushing of the envelope.
In 2025, after a career including iconic performances at Royal Albert Hall and multiple world tours, Townsend announced an indefinite hiatus from touring. Having then delivered the live debut in Groningen of ‘The Moth’, his most ambitious work to date, it was only natural to need a break. Townsend returned home to complete the studio album of ‘The Moth’ (out 29th May on InsideOut Music) and to rebuild himself in preparation for the next stage.
According to Townsend; “The Moth feels like the culmination of all my musical experiences and my journey in life so far. And as ‘The Moth’ spreads its wings, I’m also aware of how much I’ve changed, and consequently how much remains to be expressed.”
He continues “The making of this album took me on quite a journey of self-exploration. This opportunity to get out there, tell my story with this renewed clarity, celebrate my entire anthology of music across a variety of projects (and the stories behind them) offers an opportunity to connect with the audience who made this all happen and do what I love in the process: Play music. I’ve been told ‘The Moth’ seems like my life’s work and I would agree, though it was a life that no longer exists. Moving into this new life is the path now, and these events offer an introduction to that.”
This welcomed change of heart should likely appeal to a legion of loyal fans worldwide, who now have the opportunity to watch Devin Townsend perform a range of tracks from his 31-strong studio album discography across a range of different artist projects including Punky Brüster, Casualties of Cool, Devin Townsend Project and the genre-defining Strapping Young Lad.
The ‘Metamorphosis’ solo tour offers a rare unfiltered opportunity to see Devin Townsend back on stage, performing solo at 23 shows across 10 different countries in the UK and Europe. In typical Devin Townsend fashion, expect the unexpected with a varied set list that will doubtless change night by night, and of course a few (bizarre) surprises along the way.
To those fans who were hoping to see Devin Townsend perform ‘The Moth’ live complete with world-class band, orchestra and choir, he admits “If the audience at large desires this, I would love to, but let’s walk again before we fly =).” He admits “I’m just looking forward to seeing you all again, singing and playing the music from this vast catalogue and discussing the stories behind it all. Thank you and I so look forward to seeing you all again.”

Carl Palmer is set to revive the legacy of Emerson, Lake & Palmer with a groundbreaking live experience coming to the UK in February 2027. An Evening with Emerson, Lake & Palmer blends live performance with cutting-edge technology, reuniting all three members on stage and screen in a powerful two-hour concert experience.
Featuring footage from the band’s legendary 1992 Royal Albert Hall performance, the show sees Palmer performing live alongside synced visuals of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake.
The UK run will include prestigious venues such as Gateshead Glasshouse, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and the London Palladium.
With over 48 million albums sold, Emerson, Lake & Palmer remain one of the most influential acts in Progressive Rock and Heavy music history.
Following the passing of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake in 2016, Carl Palmer remains the last surviving member, making this show not just a celebration of the music but a powerful way to bring the band back together on stage once more.
Tickets go on sale from May via ELPTickets.com.

Formed in 1970 in London, Emerson, Lake & Palmer were progressive rock pioneers and one of the biggest bands on the planet. With over 48 million albums sold and a string of era-defining records, ELP took rock music to new heights, blending classical, jazz and pure rock energy into a sound that filled arenas worldwide.
From their explosive breakthrough at the Isle Of Wight Festival 1970 to headlining global tours, ELP delivered shows that were as ambitious as their music and helped define what a live rock spectacle could be.
The band’s final performance came in 2010 at London’s High Voltage Festival 2010, marking their 40th anniversary.
