Concert Photos: Angel Du$t, Outta Pocket, and Jivebomb at the Brooklyn Bowl

I never expected to enjoy a hardcore show with bowling lanes running right beside the pit, but that’s exactly what makes Brooklyn Bowl such a strange and memorable setting. After a 289-mile trip to catch Angel Du$t on their current tour, the venue added its own layer of personality to a night that already felt worth the trip.
Vanity opened with a solid set, leaning into a more cadenced, groove-driven sound that eased the room into the night without losing intensity. It was a strong start that set the tone without trying to overpower what followed.
Jivebomb

Jivebomb didn’t just keep the energy going—they elevated it. Kat Madeira is impossible to ignore; her presence commands the room in a way that feels both raw and controlled. There’s a precision to the band’s performance that makes the chaos feel intentional, and it hits harder because of it. Easily one of the standout moments of the night.
Outta Pocket

Outta Pocket didn't disappoint either, bringing a kind of violence that makes a place come down. At this time, the number of stage diving and mosh pits became incalculable. The perfect combination of chaos and happiness by the fans.
Angel Du$t

By the time Angel Du$t took the stage, the room was fully locked in. They’re operating at a level right now that’s hard to ignore—tight, energetic, and clearly in sync with each other. The songs land with confidence, and there’s a genuine sense that they’re enjoying every second up there, which only feeds back into the crowd.
The night carried an added weight. In a week where the hardcore community is mourning the loss of Bo Lueders, Justice Tripp paused mid-set to call out, one by one, the names of the people he loves who were in the room. It was a simple but powerful reminder: be present, appreciate your people, and don’t take any of it for granted.

TV Star – “The Package”
TV Star’s ’90s-as-hell alt-coded pop-rock is immensely appealing. If you’ve heard the Seattle/Tacoma band’s recent singles from debut album Music For Heads, oh, you already know. And if you haven’t checked out the band yet, the epiphany will be all yours when you press play on their new video. “The Package” is a dreamy midtempo…
