  • Check Out Fit For An Autopsy’s New Standalone Single “The Wretch”

    fitforanautopsy_band25

As they embark on ‘The Heaviest Tour Of The Year’ with Lamb Of God, Kublai Khan TX, and Sanguisguabogg tonight, the dudes in Fit For An Autopsy dropped a brand new standalone single to get folks hyped up. The new track, dubbed “The Wretch” is every bit as badass and brutal as you’d expect from the New Jersey-based deathcore act.

Stuffed to the gills with chunky riffs and a mantle-cracking breakdown, this thing will sound like an absolute beast when they hit the stage tonight to kick off their tour.

Speaking of the track itself, Fit For An Autopsy’s Will Putney gave accurately describing this track a shot.

“True to our general nature, ‘The Wretch’ is another relatively pessimistic and grim glimpse into our worldly outlook. In a time where nothing seems to be getting any better at home or abroad, we find there can always be a moment of comfort in the thought of burning it all down. We hope this song is that temporary oasis for you as well. Thank you for listening.”

You can catch Fit For An Autopsy at any of the shows listed below. Just make sure you get your tickets today.

  • Billy Idol Just Announced A Las Vegas Residency—And The Timing Couldn’t Be Bigger

    billy-idol-2026

When Is Billy Idol’s 2026 Las Vegas Residency And How Can Fans Get Tickets?

Billy Idol’s “Hot In The City” Las Vegas residency runs August 28 through September 5, 2026 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, with tickets going on sale March 20.

    TL;DR

Billy Idol is heading back to Las Vegas for a five-night residency in summer 2026—right as his new album, major documentary, and Rock Hall nomination put him back in the spotlight.

This isn’t just another residency announcement.

The timing here is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Because Billy Idol isn’t coming into Vegas off nostalgia alone—he’s walking in with new music, renewed attention, and one of the strongest late-career runs he’s had in years.

And that changes how this hits.

    Bigger Than A Typical Residency

Las Vegas residencies usually signal one thing—legacy mode.

But this doesn’t feel like that.

Idol is coming off Dream Into It, his first full-length album in over a decade, and it didn’t just land quietly—it charted, pulled strong critical response, and reinserted him into the conversation in a real way.

    At the same time:

    • A feature-length documentary is about to hit Hulu
    • He’s been nominated for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
    • And he’s still actively touring

That combination makes this less of a look back—and more of a continuation.

The “Hot In The City” Residency Details

Billy Idol will take over the BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas for five nights:

    • August 28
    • August 29
    • September 2
    • September 4
    • September 5

All shows are scheduled for 8 p.m., with pre-sales rolling out ahead of the general on-sale date of March 20.

Fans looking to attend can find tickets here.

And with only five dates locked in, this isn’t a long run—it’s a targeted one.

What Fans Can Expect From These Shows

    Idol isn’t coming in alone.

Steve Stevens—his longtime guitarist and collaborator of over four decades—is part of the lineup, which immediately raises expectations for how tight these shows will be.

Setlist-wise, you’re looking at a mix that almost guarantees:

    • “Rebel Yell”
    • “White Wedding”
    • “Dancing With Myself”
    • “Eyes Without A Face”
    • “Cradle Of Love”

But with Dream Into It in the mix, there’s also a real chance newer material gets folded in alongside the classics.

That balance is where this residency could separate itself.

The Documentary Is About To Shift The Conversation

There’s another factor here that can’t be ignored.

Billy Idol Should Be Dead—a feature-length documentary directed by Jonas Åkerlund—is about to hit Hulu following its theatrical debut.

And that kind of release tends to do one thing consistently:

    It reframes the artist.

It brings in new viewers, reminds older fans why they connected in the first place, and resets the narrative heading into whatever comes next.

That means these Vegas shows won’t just be concerts—they’ll land in the middle of renewed attention.

The Rock Hall Factor Is Real

Idol’s nomination for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Class of 2026 adds another layer.

Because this is exactly the kind of moment where perception shifts.

Artists who get nominated—or inducted—don’t just get celebrated. They get re-evaluated.

And when that lines up with:

    • new music
    • a documentary
    • and live shows

    …it creates momentum.

    This Isn’t A Farewell—It’s A Strategic Moment

Nothing about this suggests Idol is slowing down.

If anything, it feels like the opposite.

This residency lands at a point where:

    • the catalog is still strong
    • the new material is working
    • and the attention is building again

That’s not how farewell runs are built.

    That’s how momentum is extended.
