I was wondering why Chuck Mundy — that guy with an old man’s prosthetic mask and a gazillion hot dogs and Busch Lights, singing “One Last Breath” — kept popping up on my Instagram. Although the algorithm might be catering to my unhinged, trashy taste, many users have been noticing recently that Instagram has been recommending Creed’s 1999 hit “Higher” to soundtrack story posts.

Yo La Tengo will perform a benefit show in support of Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico Oct. 17 at The Long Time in Austin, Texas. The event will raise funds for Talarico’s Senate campaign, with each ticket requiring a $100 donation to the campaign. Attendance will be capped at 500 people.

While fans waited in line to get into Geordie Greep’s concert at the Pearl in Vancouver yesterday, flyers with serious allegations were handed out. The flyers informed the crowd of sexual assault allegations that were made that day. An hour and forty minutes after the scheduled set time, Greep addressed the crowd with a speech about the situation before playing a solo set. The flyer read:
