PRESIDENT are back once more with another new track, diving deeper into the beauty and brutality that is coming to define the project.
Titled ‘Mercy’, it’s a track that soars as much as it rips and tears. Brimming with gorgeous melodies, angular chords and throat-shredding refrains, it’s a song that feels absolutely massive in scope and sound. From crystalline to calloused with the flick of the wrist, it dives deeper into the fascinating and fantastical universe which the band is building out day by day.
PRESIDENT had this to say about the track’s sentiment, stating, “Throughout history, religion has been tied to profound division and loss. This song is a reflection on that reality, and a way for me to come to terms with what it means on a human level.”
The track comes hot on the heels of ‘Angel Wings’, which was released last month and sounds a lot like this:
